Croix Valley Garlic Ginger Teriyaki Wing Sauce Wings

Oh, glorious wing sauce, you! Croix Valley Garlic Ginger Teriyaki wing sauce wings are the sauced-up wings of my dreams. Ya know, I love the heck out of the Croix Valley dry seasoning with the same name and flavors. Then they went and put those wonderful Asian-inspired flavors into a bottle of sauce. Oh me oh my, what good stuff this is!

Croix Valley Garlic Ginger Teriyaki Wings

A Real Winner of a Wing Sauce

Croix Valley Garlic Ginger Teriyaki wing sauce brings a nice soy sauce flavor. They’re on the sweeter side, but not overly sweet. The garlic and ginger flavors are there, but kinda in the background, adding to the party but not being obnoxious. This is an all-around fantastic sauce, a real winner.

More is Better

When you pick up some of this sauce, get extra. A whole lot extra. You’re going to want it for brushing on grilled chicken quarters. Or whole chicken. Slather it on grilled shrimp, or use it as a dipping sauce instead. Ever had grilled or smoked Asian-flavored ribs? Well, now’s your chance to have the best ones around.

Ass Kickin’ Honey BBQ Wing Sauce Wings

No lie, you’re gonna feel it when you bite into some Ass Kickin’ Honey BBQ Wing Sauce wings. The base sauce definitely packs a punch. There’s a slight hint of honey, sugar and molasses sweetness. A little tomato paste makes you think ‘BBQ sauce’. There’s a touch of smokiness. But most of all, there’s a great, spicy Buffalo-inspired sauce underneath that’s gonna make you remember what an ass kickin’ is!

Ass Kickin' Honey BBQ Wing Sauce Wings

Plenty of Great Flavor

I really liked the flavor of these Ass Kickin’ Honey BBQ wing sauce wings. The sauce is a little thinner than you’d expect from a BBQ sauce. It really is more reminiscent of a Buffalo sauce. That’s where it’s roots are and it doesn’t try to hide them.

Also try some Ass Kickin’ bacon wings! Yummy!

5 Salt 5 Pepper Air Fryer Dry Wings

Oh, me. These 5 Salt and 5 Pepper air fryer dry wings are why I am such a big fan of un-sauced wings. Sure, you can make these and still sauce them. And you should. But do yourself a favor and try them dry. They’ll make a believer out of you.

Packed with flavor

The 5 Salt and 5 Pepper seasoning from Kroger is packed with flavor. So, you ask yourself, really? Are there really 5 different kinds of salt and 5 different kinds of pepper in it? Yes! Here’s proof. The salts: sea, pink Himalayan, Cypress white, French grey, and fleur de sel. The peppers: cayenne, chili, black, red and green bell. All combine for a decidedly different taste that hits every part of your tongue. And makes it tingle!

5 Salt 5 Pepper Air Fryer Dry Wings

Be heavy-handed!

Do not be shy with the seasoning when it comes time to make your 5 Salt 5 Pepper Air Fryer Dry Wings. Seasoning them good and let them dry brine in the fridge for 30 minutes before cooking them. That’ll help get some of fantastic salty pepperiness deep inside, making each bite completely incredible. Afterward, season them even more after they’re cooked up crispy hot.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Season the wings with the 5 Salt and 5 Pepper seasoning. Do not be shy with it. Toss to get the seasoning coated evenly on all sides.
  • Place wings in fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Lightly spray the basket of your air fryer with non-stick spray. Preheat per manufacturer's recommendation to 350 F.
  • Add the wings to the basket (be careful it's hot!).
  • Cook wings for 12 minutes.
  • Flip the wings and cook another 12 minutes.
  • Increase the air fryer temperature to 400 F and cook another 6 minutes.
  • Remove wings from fryer and place in a bowl. Toss with more seasoning, to taste.
  • Let cool slightly (the wings will crisp as they cool) then serve.

Notes

Note: The full 30 minute cook time is for large, meaty wings. If your wings are a bit thinner (er… scrawny) back the times down to 10/10/4 minutes instead of 12/12/6 minutes.

Wing Master Mango Chile-Lime Dry Wings

The first bite of my Wing Master Mango chile-lime seasoning dry wings made me think I was enjoying a big bucket of wings on the beach. Fantastic tropically-inspired flavors made bite-after-bite deliciousness. A hint of fruitiness. A little citrusy lime. And just the right amount of heat. These are great wings with great seasoning.

Wing Master Mango Chile-Lime Dry Wings

Tropical Wings Are A Win

I wasn’t shy with the seasoning when I made some Wing Master Mango Chile-Lime dry wings. As soon as the wings were cooked (in an air fryer in this case), I transferred them to a bowl and give them a few good shakes of seasoning while tossing gently. I found the flavors to be wonderfully different. I’m inspired now to find more tropical-like wing flavors!

If I am serving my wings with Ranch or blue cheese or some other sauce, I use these little sauce dipping cups. They’re the perfect size for dipping wings, nuggets, tenders and even vegetables. And they’re easy to clean, too!

Torchbearer Honey Garlic Wings

This is not the first bottle of Torchbearer wing sauce that I’ve tried. And it won’t be the last, either. Because, like the others, Torchbearer Honey Garlic wing sauce is crazy good. Usually garlic wing sauces tend to be spicy. This variation brings the sweetness of honey for a nice tasty twist. Add in roasted garlic and you’ve got a great wing sauce!

Torchbearer Honey Garlic Wings

A Great Sauce For More Than Wings

Torchbearer Honey Garlic wing sauce isn’t just for wings, either. Although that’s certainly a good enough reason to run out and buy a few bottles. It’s also great as a marinade for chicken, fish, or shrimp! Or brush it on your hot-off-the-grill steak or pork chops!

Plucker’s Gold Rush Wing Sauce Wings

I didn’t think I’d be as much a fan of a creamy, mustardy wing sauce as I ended up being when I tasted Plucker’s Gold Rush wing sauce on a batch of wings hot out of my air fryer. There are three kinds of mustard wing sauce: those with too little mustard, those with too much mustard, and those (the few) that are just perfect. This one is just perfect. Finger-lickingly good perfect.

Plucker's Gold Rush Wings

Another Tasty Sauce From Plucker’s

Plucker’s Gold Rush wing sauce is great on hot dogs, grilled or smoked ribs. And chicken (well, like other than wings of course!) too! And it makes for a great dipping sauce for chicken nuggets. It’s another great example of the quality, tasty wing sauces you can find at Plucker’s.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Plucker’s Hallelujah Wing Sauce Wings

Hallelujah is right! You’ll be praising this wing sauce from Plucker’s just like I did as soon as I took my first taste. It’s not fancy, but oh is it ever a great combination of Sriracha and BBQ sauce. A little heat, and a little Asian-inspiration, and a little smoke all in a nice tomato-based sauce make for finger-lickingly good wings. Plucker’s Hallelujah wings are fantastic!

Plucker's Hallelujah Wings

Hallelujah Is Right

Plucker’s Hallelujah wing sauce is also great on grill ribs, pulled pork, and chicken. Don’t be shy with it. And don’t worry about it running off your food either. It has the right consistency. It sticks just right no matter what you put it on. No sauce lakes on your plate from this sauce, that’s for sure!

Plucker’s Honey BBQ Wing Sauce Wings

I bit my finger when I ate my lunchtime wings tossed with Plucker’s honey BBQ wing sauce. Yes, I was eating the wings so fast that my finger got in the way. I was blinded by wing love and must have thought, hey, that looks a bit like a drummette, let’s try that! And it was good! Ok, I’m sort of kidding, but man what a great sauce this is! It’s on the sweet side (the honey in the name gives it away). Not really any heat to speak of. But oh, oh, it’s soooo good!

Pluckers Honey BBQ Wings

Delicious Sweetness In Every Bite

Plucker’s honey BBQ wing sauce would be absolutely outstanding on just about anything. Just because it says ‘wing’ on the label doesn’t mean that’s all it’s good for. If you’re looking for a truly amazing sweet BBQ sauce, this is it.

Moore’s Blue Cheese Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

As much as I love blue cheese dressing for dipping my chicken wings, I don’t want it to  overwhelm my ‘delicate’ palate that I can’t taste the wings. So, I might’ve been a tad nervous when I cooked up a batch of wings and tossed them in some Moore’s Blue Cheese Buffalo wing sauce. Well, that first bite told me and told me quick that the sauce was about as perfect as you can get. Nice and thick, but not too thick, and packed with blue cheese flavor and a hint of spiciness. But not too much blue cheese flavor and not too much spiciness. Darn good eating, that’s for sure.

Moore's Blue Cheese Buffalo Wings

No Dressing Needed

You can skip the Ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce for wings coated in Moore’s Blue Cheese Buffalo wing sauce. You don’t need anything except the wings, the sauce and a stack of paper towels.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Legend Larry’s Sweet Thai Chili Wing Sauce Wings

Legend Larry’s Sweet Thai Chili wing sauce is fantastic. I am not surprised, though, because every sauce I’ve had from Legend Larry’s has been fantastic. Always the right consistency. Never overpowering. Just flat-out fantastic. This sauce has a slight kick, but not too much. You just notice it. It’s slightly sweet, but not so much so. It’s a great chili sauce by itself, but on wings it’s perfect.
