Buffalo Wild Wings Sweet BBQ Wings

Sometimes BBQ-flavored wing sauces are too sweet for me. Or too BBQ-y. Not Buffalo Wild Wings Sweet BBQ Wings sauce. I thought that this sauce was a spot-on BBQ sauce. Not only great on wings, either. I’d put this sauce on burgers, ribs, smoked chicken and even my crazy yummy pulled pork.

Buffalo Wild Wings Sweet BBQ Wings

One of the nice things about Buffalo Wild Wings Sweet BBQ Wings sauce, besides the great taste, is the consistency. This sauce isn’t too thin, so you don’t have to worry about it running off your wings or whatever you have it slathered on. No one wants a sauce lake on their plate. And it’s not too thick. No one wants gloppy sauce that can also be used as spackle. Nope, this sauce is just right.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

G Hughes Sugar Free Thai Chili Wing Sauce

The days of thin, bland sugar free wing sauces have come to an end. G Hughes’ line of low carb sauces totally make you forget what’s not in them. I don’t even think of them as sugar free. I just think of them as great on wings. G Hughes Sugar Free Thai Chili Wing Sauce is no exception. I’ve had tons of Asian-inspired chili sauces, and this is a fantastic sauce no matter what.

G Hughes Sugar Free Thai Chili Wing Sauce

G Hughes Sugar Free Thai Chili Wing Sauce has just the right sweetness and just the right spiciness. I love it on wings, but it’s also delicious as a dipping sauce for shrimp or chicken nuggets. Very delicious. Do yourself a favor and get more than one bottle. You’ll want to always have one on hand!

Sweet Baby Ray’s Garlic Parmesan Wings

I’ve always been happy with everything from Sweet Baby Ray’s. So I had pretty high hopes (and standards) for the newly-released Sweet Baby Ray’s Garlic Parmesan wings sauce. I knew I didn’t have to be worried I’d just wasted some hard-earned bucks on a sauce I wouldn’t like. And I knew it’d be loaded with garlic, but not too much. I knew it’d have hints of Parmesan. And I knew it’d be the perfect consistency. So, no surprises here. This is a great garlic Parmesan wing sauce.

Sweet Baby Ray's Garlic Parmesan Wings

Sweet Baby Ray’s Garlic Parmesan wings sauce is great on grilled whole chicken or pieces, too. And you can use it as a marinade. Or even a salad dressing. It’s a very versatile sauce. It really shines on wings, though. It’s a finger-licking experience and that’s what makes me happy and coming back to SBR’s sauces again and again! Enjoy!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Bloody Mary Dry Wings

I’ve been to quite a number of Pepper Palace stores over the years. My rule is if I’m anywhere near one, I’m stopping. And I’m backing up the truck on sauces and seasonings. My wife loves a great Bloody Mary now and then, so last time we were at the Pepper Palace store at the Island in Sevierville, TN, we picked up a jar of their Bloody Mary seasoning. Heck yeah, this stuff makes for a great Bloody Mary. But, oh me, does it ever go good on wings! If you love dry wings with a wonderful savory flavor, you’re about to have some truly yummy wings. Celery seed, paprika, a little cayenne and a few other spices make this a seasoning to remember. Get some!

Bloody Mary Dry Wings

If you’re not a believer in dry wings, Bloody Mary dry wings will change your mind in one bite. Or one sniff. As soon as you open the jar and start sprinkling it on hot just-cooked wings, you’ll smell the wonderful combination of spices.

Pepper Palace makes a ton of great sauces and seasonings, not just for wings. Find a store near you and spend an hour or two wandering the shelves. They always have an area where you can sample sauces and spices, too. It’s like flavor heaven. Instead, if there’s not one near you, take a road trip (it’ll be worth it) or order online.

Also try my homemade Bloody Mary seasoning and wing sauce.

Buffalo Wild Wings Mild Buffalo Wings

It’s not that I don’t like spicy wing sauces, nope. I do. But sometimes I want to enjoy great traditional Buffalo wing flavors without the kick. That’s where this Buffalo Wild Wings Mild Buffalo Wings sauce comes in. Great flavor without being spicy, it’s a really great sauce for sitting back and enjoying a big ole batch of wings.

Buffalo Wild Wings Mild Buffalo Wings

I would consider these mild Buffalo wings to be the perfect ‘safe’ wings to serve at a party. You don’t have to worry about over-spicing anyone with this sauce and they’ll still enjoy great wings. It also is perfect for boneless wings. Just toss them in the sauce or use it as a dipping sauce on the side.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Buffalo Wild Wings Lemon Pepper Dry Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings Lemon Pepper wing seasoning makes for some of the best dry wings I’ve ever had. The lemon isn’t too overpowering. The pepper is good and strong, like I like it, but also not overwhelmingly peppery. All I had to do was cook up some naked wings (I nothing on them before they cooked) and then toss them with a good amount of rub. Wow, what great wings these were!

Buffalo Wild Wings Lemon Pepper Dry Wings

Don’t be shy with the Buffalo Wild Wings Lemon Pepper wing seasoning. It’s very good stuff. Put it on the wings right after they cook, while they’re still hot. The moist wings give a place for the seasoning to ‘stick’ so you don’t have to worry it all falling to the bottom of your plate. You’ll get plenty in each and every bite!

Make sure you seal your wing seasonings well after using. You don’t want any moisture sneaking in. This Buffalo Wild Wings seasoning comes in a shaker bottle that seals perfectly!

Blonde Beard’s Holy Hell Wings

I was afraid when I sauced up some hot-out-of-the-deep-fryer wings with Blonde Beard’s Holy Hell Wings sauce. Cayenne and scotch bonnet peppers ain’t something to sneeze at. You gotta be careful. Now, I got the heat, oh yes, but the flavor! Oh my! This is one of the tastiest (and pretty dang hot) wing sauces I’ve ever had. Buttery, peppery, it’s just one killer sauce. I highly recommend this sauce to any Buffalo wing sauce lover.

Blonde Beard's Holy Hell Wings

So this is the part of my posts where I usually add some brilliant comments about the sauce. Like ‘Blonde Beard’s Holy Hell Wings sauce is also great on grilled chicken’. Something like that. And you know, I bet it is great on grilled chicken, but I’m keeping this sauce all for myself and my wings.

Try every flavor from Blonde Beard’s. Get a bottle of each. But get two bottles of the Holy Hell sauce!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Alabama White Sauce BBQ Wings

Alabama white sauce is the kind of BBQ sauce that I thought was a bit odd at first. I love mayonnaise, but in a BBQ sauce? Huh? Vinegar, yeah, I get that. But the mayonnaise threw me, even though I’m a mayo-holic. But like a good lil trooper, I tried it and boy did I love it. Do love it. I’ve made my own a few times, but I recently discovered Duke’s Alabama style white southern dipping sauce and it’s one that I really really like, so that’s what I put on my Alabama white sauce BBQ wings!

Alabama White Sauce BBQ Wings

Go easy on the sauce

I like my Alabama white sauce BBQ wings just lightly sauced. Too much and I start to think I’m having potato salad. Or a creamy macaroni salad. The sauce has a great flavor, but there’s no need to go crazy with it. That’s just my opinion, of course. You can always put some sauce on the side for dipping your chicken wings.

G Hughes Sugar Free Sweet Honey Wings

It seems that, often, you can tell how many carbohydrates there are in a store-bought wing sauce based on just how yummy it is. Those sweet sauces don’t usually come for ‘free’. G Hughes Sugar Free Sweet Honey Wings sauce is turning that idea around. Usually, sugar free sauces are taste free to boot, but not in this case. This sauce is packed with sweet honey flavor. And sometimes that sugar free stuff is a bit thin. Nope, not in this case either. This is a just-right-consistency sauce. No lakes at the bottom of my wing plate. This is a great finger-licking sauce. If the bottle didn’t say ‘sugar free’ I would’ve never even thought about it.

G Hughes Sugar Free Sweet Honey Wings

I was surprised by how good G Hughes Sugar Free Sweet Honey Wings sauce was since I’d been burned by sugar free sauces before. I’m happy with this sauce, very happy, and I look forward to trying all of the other sauces from G Hughes, from wing sauces to BBQ sauces. I probably owe them an apology for doubting them.

You might just know Frank’s RedHot for their bottled Buffalo wing sauce. Well, let me tell you, they make a lot more than ‘just’ that! Frank’s RedHot Stingin’ Honey Garlic Wings sauce is fantastic (too)! It’s a nice thick sauce, with just a hint of spiciness. You get a good dose of sweetness, too. And a touch of garlic. It makes for a great tangy chicken wing, for sure!
