Frank’s RedHot Hot Buffalo Wings

Feel that tingle. Feel that burn. Taste those classic flavors. Some spice. Butter flavor. Garlic. Vinegar. Everything you need is here. Frank’s RedHot Hot Buffalo Wings are super addicting. I was in the hurry for lunch, but not in too big of a hurry that I couldn’t cook up some wings in the air fryer for a bit then toss them in this sauce. A little ranch (or blue cheese to keep it traditional) on the side to cool me down, and I’m one happy guy.

Frank’s RedHot Hot Buffalo Wings

A Great Kick with Great Flavor

There are milder versions of Buffalo sauce, but I find myself coming back to Frank’s RedHot hot Buffalo wings sauce again and again. It has just the right amount of heat for me when I’m searching for a wing with a nice kick to it. I could sit down to a bucket of these wings, some football and a cold adult beverage and be one happy guy for a long, long time.

Copycat Hooter’s Hot Buffalo Wings

It’s hard to beat Hooter’s for good ole hot wings. If you don’t have a restaurant nearby you have three options. One, move. Two, order some of their breading and sauces online and make the original yourself. Or three, make this copycat Hooter’s hot buffalo Wings from scratch. Any option will do, but I have to admit that these wings came out spot-on like what I’ve had at the restaurant. They’re hot but not crazy hot. They’re breaded perfectly. They taste wonderful and they disappear in no time. That’s the sign of darned good wings.

Copycat Hooter's Hot Buffalo Wings

Great Heat and Great Flavor

I wouldn’t do anything different about these copycat Hooter’s hot Buffalo wings. Except maybe more of them, more often. You can tone down the heat but leaving out the cayenne and make a medium version of these wings, but then they wouldn’t be hot wings! Doh!

If it’s just me or the two of us, I’ll use my lil ole trusty Fry Daddy fryer to make these wings. I can fit a good 8 pieces in without any fear of over-crowding. As an added bonus, it doesn’t use much oil and it is super easy to clean up. It sure makes deep frying a breeze.

Lillie’s Q Hot Buffalo Wings

There are a number of guarantees in life. You know, like taxes. And that any seasoning or sauce from Lillie’s Q is going to be amazing. Amazing in flavor, amazing in quality, amazing in every way that is important. Lillie’s Q Hot Buffalo Wings sauce is a guaranteed winner. You know what you’re in for. A hot Buffalo wing sauce. I mean, that’s kind of obvious! But you know that Lillie’s is going to deliver those classic flavors in a sauce that is perfectly balanced, wonderfully spicy, and just the right consistency to stick to your wings.

Lillies Q Hot Buffalo Wings

Oh So Good Buffalo-Inspired Flavors

Many wing sauces come in plastic bottles. I get that. It’s a cost thing. A freight thing. Not Lillie’s Q Hot Buffalo wings sauce. Nothing but thick, glass bottles here. For the same reason beer tastes better out of a glass bottle, wing sauce tastes better out of glass. It’s another reason why you know going in that you’re in for a great sauce.

PS: Don’t say I didn’t warn you. The bottle does say ‘hot’ right there on the front of the label. It’s not a misprint.

Hooter’s Hot Wings

This is what wings are all about. These Hooter’s hot wings (deep fried as they should be!) are as close to the real thing as you can get. Lightly crunchy, super tasty breading. Nicely spicy Buffalo wing sauce. No pain here, just great hot wings. This is not a copycat recipe. These wings are made with the same breading and sauce you can order online or pick up in the retail section at any Hooter’s. Get some, make these wings, and be happy!

Hooter's Hot Wings

Beyond Great

I fry up my Hooter’s hot wings 6 or so at a time in a Fry Daddy fryer. It makes perfect wings. Only downside is you can’t select the cook temperature, so I end up cooking my wings a bit longer since the oil is around 325 F. Still it makes for great wings in no time with a lot less oil than if I’d used my big restaurant-style fryer!

If you like to serve your Hooter’s Hot wings with carrots and celery on the side, I recommend that you take a vegetable peeler to remove the outer strings. The celery is oh so much more tender without those pesky things!

Also try some Hooter’s medium wings for a little less heat!

Anchor Bar Hot Buffalo Wings

I’m pretty sure that if you make your own wings at home, by law, you have to have a few bottles of Anchor Bar Hot Buffalo wings sauce on hand at all times. The medium heat version is a great sauce to serve a crowd. But sometimes someone, maybe you, maybe not, wants some more kick. Well, say hello to the Anchor Bar hot Buffalo wings sauce. Same great flavor, more heat. Win!

Anchor Bar Hot Buffalo Wings

Great Flavor without too much Heat

I wouldn’t call the spicier version of the classic sauce over-the-top spicy. It’s a great sauce with a great kick. It hits you then it sneaks off, leaving you with great flavor and great wings. Anchor Bar Hot Buffalo wings are really good. Finger-licking good. Get a few bottles and keep some on hand at all times. It’s the law!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Buffalo Wild Wings Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings has had a hot Buffalo wing sauce on their menu for some time. This isn’t that. This is more. More heat. Much more. And yet, it tastes great. The heat is strong, it almost overpowers the flavor, but it doesn’t. I actually really, really enjoyed it which surprised me because I’m not usually into overly hot sauces. If this sauce was just about the heat I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much.

Buffalo Wild Wings Wild Wings

Spicy. Hot. I warned you.

Buffalo Wild Wings Wild Wings sauce is not the for faint of heart. But I’d urge you to ask your waitstaff for a taste next time you’re at a BW3s. Or just order a bottle and take the plunge in the privacy of your own home. Remember, it’s not as embarrassing to scream “OMG! That’s hot!” at home.

I keep a bottle of this sauce on hand for any time I run across a recipe (such as my Buffalo Turkey burgers) that calls for Buffalo wing sauce.

Plucker’s Hot Buffalo Wings

It’s from Plucker’s, so I knew this sauce would be amazing. And the bottle does say ‘hot’ on it, so I knew this sauce would be spicy. The key to a great wing sauce is to balance the spicy with flavor, and this hot Buffalo wing sauce does that perfectly. Yeah, it brings some heat, but it tastes so good and that’s critical. No one wants a crazy hot sauce that doesn’t take great. This one tastes great.

Plucker's Hot Buffalo Wings

Spicy But Not Crazy Hot

Even if you’re not really into super spicy wing sauces, I think you’ll like Plucker’s hot Buffalo wing sauce. Sure, it has a kick. But if you go light on it, I think you’ll love your wings. Hey, do like I did and have some cool Ranch or blue cheese dressing on hand if necessary.

The Fresh Thyme Wild Buffalo wing sauce is no exception. This sauce is a nice, mellow Buffalo sauce. It’s a mix of great traditional Buffalo wing sauce flavor with a few twists.

Buffalo Wild Wings Hot Buffalo Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings Hot Buffalo Wings sauce is what hot Buffalo wings should be. The right amount of vinegar. The right amount of spices. And just enough heat. Not ‘burn the roof off my mouth’ hot, either. Spicy, but not painful. When I crave a traditional wing sauce from a bottle, I grab this.

Buffalo Wild Wings Hot Buffalo Wings

Great Traditional Flavor with a Kick

I don’t usually deep fry my wings, but I did when I made these Buffalo Wild Wings Hot Buffalo Wings. Not sure what inspired me to do that. I was craving a traditional wing, and that’s what I got. Lightly-coated wings give the sauce something to cling to. Great Buffalo wing flavor in every bite! So get online or run to your local BW3 and get a bottle now!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Also try Buffalo Wild Wings spicy Wild Wings. They’re called ‘wild’ for a reason!

Noble Made Hot Buffalo Wings

I was perusing the wing sauce section at our local Whole Foods when I came across a few bottles of Noble Made sauce, including their hot Buffalo wing sauce. Never one to pass up a new (to me) sauce, I grabbed a few and headed on home to make a big ole batch of wings. This sauce is good and spicy (hey, it does say ‘hot’ on the label!), has that great Buffalo wing flavor, and has the perfect consistency. And consistency is important. Too many sauces are thin and watery. You end up with 10 times as much sauce on your plate as you do on your wings. That’s not why you made wings. You want them covered in sauce, not swimming in sauce soup.

Noble Made Hot Buffalo Wings

Good And Spicy

Next time I’m at Whole Foods I won’t hesitate to grab a few more bottles of Noble Made hot Buffalo wing sauce, along with their other flavors. You can’t go wrong with it. It’s perfect for those occasions when I want a good spicy Buffalo wing sauce. It’s not for the ‘no spicy stuff for me’ crowd.

Kroger Hot Buffalo Wings

Kroger has a line of low-priced wing sauces that don’t disappoint. These aren’t your fru-fru, big money sauces. They’re basic and cheap, and are perfect for saucing large batches of wings without breaking the bank. Kroger Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce isn’t too terribly hot (to me) but it does pack a nice punch. You won’t be on your knees crying in pain, but you’ll get a kick. Trust me.
