Stubb’s Texas Sriracha Anytime Sauce Wings

Stubb’s recently came out with a line of marinades and what they call anytime sauces. Our local grocery store had them all on sale, so I grabbed two or three bottles of each and headed on home with thoughts of the many things I was going to use them in. First up? Wings of course, so I grabbed a bottle of Anytime sauce and went to work making a batch of Stubb’s Texas Sriracha wings!

Stubb's Texas Sriracha Wings

Fantastic Flavor With The Right Kick

The heat from the Texas Sriracha Anytime sauce isn’t overpowering. Great flavor and a bit of a kick. It’s what I’d call the perfect bottled sauce, and absolutely the best thing for Stubb’s Texas Sriracha wings (or grilled chicken, or steak for that matter). It makes for the perfect (kicked up) substitute for the ‘normal’ Sriracha sauce you already use.

Also try Stubb’s black pepper anytime sauce wings.

SouthHouse Honey Mustard Wing Sauce Wings

Never have I been so happy as when I opened a bottle of honey mustard wing sauce from  SouthHouse, a bar and restaurant in south Philadelphia, and sauced up a batch of wings hot off my grill. This sauce made my day. My week. My month. I loved it. It has just the right sweetness. And just the right mustardness. I was worried about that. Sometimes, mustard sauces can be a bit too mustardy for me. Not this one, this was spot-on perfect.

SouthHouse Honey Mustard Wings

Mustardy Without Being Too Mustardy

You can’t go wrong with the honey mustard wing sauce from SouthHouse. It really impressed me and I’d have it again and again. And make sure you get extra, because it’s great as a dipping sauce for chicken nuggets, too. And it’s great brushed onto fried chicken. Trust me. This is great stuff!

Private Selection Hatch Green Chile Crema Wing Sauce Wings

You need to stop reading this post right now and run out to Kroger and grab some Private Selection Hatch Green Chile Crema wing sauce. This is definitely one of the best bottled sauces you can find. It has the perfect yogurty creaminess. The perfect hint of Hatch chiles, a fantastic-flavored pepper that has just a hint of spiciness. Finished with a bit of lime and cilantro, I absolutely loved this sauce on wings. And I can see this sauce finding its way into other dishes. Like a southwestern macaroni-and-cheese for sure!

Private Selection Hatch Green Chile Crema Wings

This Sauce Is Great By Itself

You don’t need anything else when you serve up a batch of Private Selection Hatch Green Chile Crema wing sauce. No Ranch dressing. No blue cheese. Nothing. The sauce on the wings is perfect by itself and the last thing you want to do is dilute it with other flavors. Let it shine!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Pretty Thai Sweet Chili Sauce Wings

This right here is why I just love eating wings. There are so many flavors, so many sauces, seasonings, cooking techniques… and each is fantastic. Pretty Thai Sweet Chili sauce wings are wonderfully delicious. They have an absolutely fantastic flavor. Slightly sweet, with a minimal touch heat and a hint of garlic and vinegar, this is downright tasty sauce. This sauce is ‘very clean’, with only a few ingredients and all of them natural. It might seem a little thin at first, but it’s actually just the right consistency for wings or anything else.

Pretty Thai Sweet Chili Sauce Wings

Great On Other Dishes, Too!

Pretty Thai Sweet Chili sauce wings are reminiscent of Thai BBQ sauced-wings. This sauce would be great on pot stickers, dipping egg rolls, or in a stir fry. But it’s truly outstanding on wings. Sometimes it’s nice to have a break from hot, Buffalo-style wings.

The Pretty Thai brand has a number of fantastic sauces, and they’re great on more than wings. Try them all!

Plucker’s Maple Chipotle Wing Sauce Wings

Sometimes a wing sauce comes along that makes me re-think my choices for my all-time favorites. Plucker’s Maple Chipotle wing sauce is sooooo good that I instantly knew this one was rocketing to the top of my list. It’s the perfect combination of warm, sweet maple with just the right amount of smoky spiciness. It’s beyond finger-licking good, so much so that it’s flat-out drinkable right out of the bottle!

Plucker's Maple Chipotle Wings

Sweet. Smoky. A Just The Right Heat.

I really can’t get over just how much I love Plucker’s Maple Chipotle wing sauce. I’m going to have to order more because I know that this sauce will also be fantastic on any grilled pork dish. Chicken too, but a slab of grilled or smoked ribs slathered in this sauce would be amazing. Plus, I need some more sauce for my wings, too!

Remember that if you refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Noble Made Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

I was perusing the wing sauce section at our local Whole Foods when I came across a few bottles of Noble Made sauce, including their hot Buffalo wing sauce. Never one to pass up a new (to me) sauce, I grabbed a few and headed on home to make a big ole batch of wings. This sauce is good and spicy (hey, it does say ‘hot’ on the label!), has that great Buffalo wing flavor, and has the perfect consistency. And consistency is important. Too many sauces are thin and watery. You end up with 10 times as much sauce on your plate as you do on your wings. That’s not why you made wings. You want them covered in sauce, not swimming in sauce soup.

Noble Made Hot Buffalo Wings

Good And Spicy

Next time I’m at Whole Foods I won’t hesitate to grab a few more bottles of Noble Made hot Buffalo wing sauce, along with their other flavors. You can’t go wrong with it. It’s perfect for those occasions when I want a good spicy Buffalo wing sauce. It’s not for the ‘no spicy stuff for me’ crowd.

Too spicy? Try Noble Made medium Buffalo wing sauce wings!

Lillie’s Q Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

Vinegar (the quality stuff). Butter (the real stuff). Cayenne (the spicy stuff). Combined they make for a delicious wing sauce. Lillie’s Q Buffalo wing sauce is just that. Just the right consistency to stick to your wings without being, well, gloppy. And not so thin that none of the sauce sticks to the wings. What would be the point of that?

Lillie's Q Buffalo Wings

Buffalo-Inspired Greatness

I will point out that even though the bottle doesn’t specifically state ‘hot’ on it, these Lillie’s Q Buffalo wing sauce wings are pretty spicy. Not like screaming hot, but you’re gonna feel it. It’s a very flavorful sauce, and I’d expect a little kick from just about any Buffalo sauce. Just letting you know!

There’s also a hotter version of this sauce for those that really want some heat!

Kroger Cajun Wing Sauce Wings

I’m always a big fan of Kroger’s wing sauces. They have a wide range of flavors and spice levels, all at good prices. I recently picked up a bottle of Kroger’s Cajun wing sauce and proceeded to immediately make a batch of wings for lunch. Hot out of the air fryer, tossed in sauce, I was ready for some serious wing devouring. I found this sauce to be a bit different. It’s like a traditional Buffalo wing sauce, but seasoned with Cajun seasonings. Like oregano. Smoked paprika. Thyme. You’re not going to find those flavors every day in a wing sauce.

Kroger Cajun Wings

Buffalo-Inspired, Cajun-Flavored

Kroger’s Cajun wing sauce is different in a really good way. It has just a little hint of spiciness to go with those Cajun flavors. If you love vinegar-based Buffalo wing sauces packed with flavor, grab a bottle and get to making some wings!

Kinder’s The Chicken Dipping Sauce

This is kind of a change for me. Most of my wing dipping sauces are either homemade or salad dressings. And although it’s not labelled as a ‘wing dipping sauce’, I found Kinder’s The Chicken dipping sauce to be a nice change from my usual wing-dunking choices. The sauce is deliciously creamy, with a slight sweetness and a bit of mustard. A very slight amount of spiciness can be found, but it’s mostly in hiding, so nothing to be afraid of if you’re not into heat. It’s mayonnaise-like in its creaminess. I prefer it for dunking my dry, un-sauced wings.

Kinder's The Chicken Dipping Sauce

Dip Deep. It’s That Good

Kinder’s The Chicken Dipping sauce is also great for dipping nuggets. But, the place it finds the most use in my house (besides for wings) is on sandwiches. Just toast some bread, add some sandwich meat and a slice or two of cheese. Top with plenty of the sauce and get to eatin’!

June Moon Mango Habanero Wing Sauce Wings

If you’re looking for a tropical wing sauce that packs a nice little kick, June Moon Mango Habanero wing sauce is the right one for you. It’s a bit fruity, has just the right consistency to stick to your wings, and is flat-out yummy! I’ve had a ton of different mango wing sauces, and I’ve even made a good number of them, and none of them had such a great mango flavor as this one.

June Moon Mango Habanero Wings

Deliciously Fruity with a bit of Heat

I picked up a variety pack of June Moon wing sauces. This creamy mango habanero is the first one I’ve tried and I loved it. It’s got great ingredients in it (I can pronounce them all!) and it screams fresh. I cannot wait to try the remaining sauces from the fine folks at June Moon Spice Company.
