Plucker’s Vampire Killer Wing Sauce Wings

True enough, after even the first batch of Plucker’s Vampire Killer wing sauce wings we no longer had vampires in our home. A little honey and molasses sweetness. A little spicy cayenne. And a WHOLE lot of garlic. You won’t be huntin’ around for the garlic in this wonderful wing sauce. It comes right at you. But it’s not so much that you get a garlic burn. It’s smooooooth and tasty and one of the best wing sauces you can find. So if you love garlic like I do, grab yourself a bottle or two and get to making some wings!

Plucker's Vampire Killer Wings

Garlic. Glorious Garlic. And Lots Of It.

Plucker’s Vampire Killer wing sauce has just the right consistency for wings. Not too thick and not too thin. Like all of Plucker’s wing sauces, which I’ve been enjoying immensely. You don’t want to pass on this sauce if you even remotely like garlic with a little heat and a whole lot of flavor.

Make some Plucker’s Bakers Gold wing sauce wings too!

Kosmos Q Buffalo Dry Wings

I’m a big fan of dry wings. It’s easy to be one, too, with flavors like those in these Kosmos Q Buffalo dry wings. I just cook up a batch of wings and toss them in the seasoning. That’s it. There’s nothing fancy going on here. Just good, traditional Buffalo wing flavor all in a powder (which I’m quite generous with, I do admit!). How cool and awesome is that? If you’ve never had dry wings you are really missing out. Since I discovered them I find myself ordering or making them at least half of the time I have wings.

Kosmos Q Buffalo Dry Wings

Fantastic Dry Wings With Just A Little Kick

Kosmo’s Q Buffalo dry wing dust has just the right amount of spiciness to it. It’s not crazy hot and it’s not crazy tame. Somewhere in-between. You gotta know you’re having Buffalo-inspired wings, right? Well, that’s what you get and then some!

Make sure you seal your wing seasonings well after using. You don’t want any moisture sneaking in. Kosmos Q comes in quality pouches that seal perfectly!

Kroger Parmesan Garlic Wing Sauce Wings

My tastes in wing sauces pretty much run the gamut. I may enjoy a few spicy Buffalo wings for a bit, then I’ll need a switch. And often that switch is to one of my favorite flavor combinations: Parmesan cheese and garlic. Kroger sells a mighty fine Parmesan garlic wing sauce, and it’s quite affordable to boot!

Kroger Parmesan Garlic Wings

Great Flavors At A Great Price

This sauce is exactly what I would want (and expect) from a wing sauce. Perfect balance of flavors. Nothing is drowning out the other tastes so I get just one. Perfect consistency. No pools of sauce at the bottom of my plate. It works and it works well. Kroger nailed another one with their Parmesan garlic wing sauce!

Kroger’s spicy garlic wing sauce wings are great too! Give them a try!

Salt and Pepper Wings

Oh my goodness. I’m a big-time chicken wing fan. Any time, anywhere, I’ll eat wings. With darn near anything on them. But sesame oil infused with garlic, onion and jalapeno? I mean, it sounded good but not something I’d ever had on wings. And wow! Was I ever surprised as to just how great these salt and pepper wings were.

Oh you get the salt and lots of black pepper, but then you get this wonderful Asian-inspired flavor that is impossible to stop eating. The sauce is the perfect balance between sharp sesame oil, spicy pepper and garlic and onion. No one flavor overpowers the rest. It’s very, very good.

Salt and Pepper Wings

So Easy, Yet So Darned Good!

Next time I fry a chicken I’m coating it in the same sauce as I used for these salt and pepper wings. And next time I make these salt and pepper wings I might double the sauce because it’s seriously addictingly good.

I like to make my spice, rub and seasoning mixes in big batches and keep them in large bottles with easy-to-pour shaker lids.

Also try my tangy wings.

Plucker’s Baker’s Gold Wing Sauce Wings

Apparently, some of the staff working at Plucker’s came up with the recipe for Baker’s Gold wing sauce. Well, hats off to them for coming up with something totally different! Baker’s Gold is (I think!) a combination of two great BBQ sauces: a smoky ketchup-based sauce like a KC BBQ sauce, and a spicy mustard vinegar-based sauce, such as you’d find in the Carolinas. Heck, why make two different batches of wings with two different BBQ sauces when you can have them both in a single one! Boom!

Plucker's Baker's Gold Wings

Every Plucker’s Sauce Is Great

I picked up eighteen different bottles of wing sauce from Plucker’s. It’s a wing restaurant based out of Austin, Texas. Every single sauce, like Plucker’s Baker’s Gold wing sauce, has been fantastic. So many different exciting flavors. I’d better get to making more wings!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Buffalo Wild Wings Sweet BBQ Wing Sauce Wings

Sometimes BBQ-flavored wing sauces are too sweet for me. Or too BBQ-y. Not Buffalo Wild Wings Sweet BBQ wing sauce. I thought that this sauce was a spot-on BBQ sauce. Not only great on wings, either. I’d put this sauce on burgers, ribs, smoked chicken and even my crazy yummy pulled pork.

Buffalo Wild Wings Sweet BBQ Wings

Outdoor BBQ Flavor on Wings

One of the nice things about Buffalo Wild Wings Sweet BBQ wing sauce, besides the great taste, is the consistency. This sauce isn’t too thin, so you don’t have to worry about it running off your wings or whatever you have it slathered on. No one wants a sauce lake on their plate. And it’s not too thick. No one wants gloppy sauce that can also be used as spackle. Nope, this sauce is just right.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Ranch Wings

I recently spent a few days in lovely Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania while attending a conference. I made sure I had my ‘to-eat’ list down before leaving, because one thing you can be sure of finding in Pittsburgh: good food. At the top of my list was dry Ranch chicken wings.

No, not dry like ‘ewww, this meat is dry’. Dry as in the wings aren’t tossed in sauce after being cooked. Instead they are dusted with seasoning. The end result is almost like roasted chicken, but with much more pronounced flavors. Now that we are back home, I had to make some of the favorites that I devoured in Pittsburgh, like these wings, which I first experienced in our hotel bar.

Ranch Wings

The Perfect Dry Wings

I went with Ranch dressing for the dipping sauce for these wings, but seriously, you can eat them dry, as-is, with no sauce. There’s no need to drown them in sauce, the flavor stands on its own.

G Hughes Sugar Free Thai Chili Wing Sauce Wings

The days of thin, bland sugar free wing sauces have come to an end. G Hughes’ line of low carb sauces totally make you forget what’s not in them. I don’t even think of them as sugar free. I just think of them as great on wings. G Hughes Sugar Free Thai Chili wing sauce is no exception. I’ve had tons of Asian-inspired chili sauces, and this is a fantastic sauce no matter what.

G Hughes Sugar Free Thai Chili Wing Sauce

A Sweet Thai Sauce Without The Carbs

G Hughes Sugar Free Thai Chili wing sauce has just the right sweetness and just the right spiciness. I love it on wings, but it’s also delicious as a dipping sauce for shrimp or chicken nuggets. Very delicious. Do yourself a favor and get more than one bottle. You’ll want to always have one on hand!

Sweet Baby Ray’s Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce Wings

I’ve always been happy with everything from Sweet Baby Ray’s. So I had pretty high hopes (and standards) for the newly-released Sweet Baby Ray’s Garlic Parmesan wing sauce. I knew I didn’t have to be worried I’d just wasted some hard-earned bucks on a sauce I wouldn’t like. And I knew it’d be loaded with garlic, but not too much. I knew it’d have hints of Parmesan. And I knew it’d be the perfect consistency. So, no surprises here. This is a great garlic Parmesan wing sauce.

Sweet Baby Ray's Garlic Parmesan Wings

You Can See The Garlic. And Lots Of It!

Sweet Baby Ray’s Garlic Parmesan wing sauce is great on grilled whole chicken or pieces, too. And you can use it as a marinade. Or even a salad dressing. It’s a very versatile sauce. It really shines on wings, though. It’s a finger-licking experience and that’s what makes me happy and coming back to SBR’s sauces again and again! Enjoy!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Bloody Mary Dry Wings

I’ve been to quite a number of Pepper Palace stores over the years. My rule is if I’m anywhere near one, I’m stopping. And I’m backing up the truck on sauces and seasonings. My wife loves a great Bloody Mary now and then, so last time we were at the Pepper Palace store at the Island in Sevierville, TN, we picked up a jar of their Bloody Mary seasoning. Heck yeah, this stuff makes for a great Bloody Mary. But, oh me, does it ever go good on wings! If you love dry wings with a wonderful savory flavor, you’re about to have some truly yummy wings. Celery seed, paprika, a little cayenne and a few other spices make this a seasoning to remember. Get some!

Bloody Mary Dry Wings

One Bite Will Convince You

If you’re not a believer in dry wings, Bloody Mary dry wings will change your mind in one bite. Or one sniff. As soon as you open the jar and start sprinkling it on hot just-cooked wings, you’ll smell the wonderful combination of spices.

Pepper Palace makes a ton of great sauces and seasonings, not just for wings. Find a store near you and spend an hour or two wandering the shelves. They always have an area where you can sample sauces and spices, too. It’s like flavor heaven. Instead, if there’s not one near you, take a road trip (it’ll be worth it) or order online.
