Kosmos Q General Tso Wings

When I first opened and tasted Kosmos Q General Tso wing sauce I thought “Whoa, that’s definitely got some soy sauce in it.” Was it too much? I marched forward, making a big ole batch of wings that I promptly tossed in the sauce. I took my first bite and … Boom! What a great sauce! Oh my!

Kosmos Q General Tso wing sauce is one of if not the best Asian-inspired wing sauces around. There’s a hint of rice vinegar, and soy sauce (but definitely not too much!), and garlic. It’s a nice stick-to-your wing sauce (thanks in part to a bit of molasses).

Kosmos Q General Tso Wings

One Fantastic Wing Sauce

My wife loves Asian-like sauces. Kosmos Q General Tso wing sauce rocketed to the top of her list of favorites with the first bite. She’s not the wing fan I am, so she used the sauce for dipping nuggets. It’s perfect on nuggets, too, since it has just the right thickness for dipping.

June Moon Mango Habanero Wings

If you’re looking for a tropical wing sauce that packs a nice little kick, June Moon Mango Habanero wing sauce is the right one for you. It’s a bit fruity, has just the right consistency to stick to your wings, and is flat-out yummy! I’ve had a ton of different mango wing sauces, and I’ve even made a good number of them, and none of them had such a great mango flavor as this one.

June Moon Mango Habanero Wings

Deliciously Fruity with a bit of Heat

I picked up a variety pack of June Moon wing sauces. This creamy mango habanero is the first one I’ve tried and I loved it. It’s got great ingredients in it (I can pronounce them all!) and it screams fresh. I cannot wait to try the remaining sauces from the fine folks at June Moon Spice Company.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

June Moon Jamaican Jerk Wings

The bottle doesn’t have to say ‘wing sauce’ to mean it’s only for wings. These June Moon Jamaican Jerk wings are proof of that. Once again, the June Moon Spice Company has packed only the freshest of ingredients into a fantastic sauce. Not overwhelming, this jerk sauce adds tremendous flavor to wings (or roasted or grilled chicken for that matter). Oh, and yes the sauce smells fantastic. You can’t have a great jerk sauce without that wonderful aroma!

June Moon Jamaican Jerk Wings

Fantastic Island-Inspired Wings

June Moon Jamaican Jerk wings bring that jerk flavor because the sauce is packed with ingredients that go into an authentic sauce. You got your garlic, ginger, cinnamon… Brown sugar, lime juice, apple cider vinegar… And of course, all spice. But not too much. I’ve had some jerk sauces that had so much all spice in them I almost passed out. Not here. Just the right amount for me.

If I am serving my wings with Ranch or blue cheese or some other sauce, I use these little sauce dipping cups. They’re the perfect size for dipping wings, nuggets, tenders and even vegetables.

House of Wings BBQ Wings

House of Wings BBQ wing sauce is what a wing sauce should be. The perfect balance of traditional Buffalo wing flavors with a hint of BBQ sauce, I could eat these wings all day long. This is the kind of sauce that’ll satisfy everyone from the hard-core wing aficionado to the I-only-eat-wings-during-the-Super Bowl guy.

House of Wings BBQ Wings

Pure Wing Sauce Greatness

I picked up a few bottles of each of the flavors from Alliger’s House of Wings. When they arrived I thought to myself “yowsa, that’s a lot of wing sauce”. Now that I’ve been enjoying them I realize that there’s no such thing as having too many on hand. House of Wings BBQ wing sauce is just one example of pure wing sauce greatness.

House of Wings Cajun Wings

I bought a big box of bottled wing sauces from Alliger’s House of Wings. Located in Sayre, PA, Alliger’s has some of the best bottled sauces I’ve ever had. I cannot get enough of them. The Cajun wing sauce is no exception. It’s a very unique combination of Louisiana-inspired spices. It’s not too hot, either. It has just the right spiciness and the perfectly different flavor. It’s different and very good.

House of Wings Cajun Wings

Buffalo-Inspired Cajun Wings

My only complaint about House of Wings Cajun wing sauce is that I didn’t order enough of it. Like the rest of Alliger’s sauces, it’s vinegar based. Like a more traditional Buffalo wing sauce. There’s nothing mysterious about it, it’s just good and you always end up with a fantastic wing experience. Ok, so my other complaint is that I wish I lived closer to Sayre, Pennsylvania!

Fresh Thyme Zesty Buffalo Wings

I made a quick stop at our local Fresh Thyme to pick up some of their fresh-made bratwurst (fantastic!) and some bacon (which is also fantastic). Any time I’m in a grocery store I make a pass through the wing sauces. I noticed Fresh Thyme’s Zesty Buffalo wing sauce on the shelf and grabbed a bottle (along with their other flavors of wing sauces). The sauce looked great. It had yummy-looking things floating in it. My mouth began to water at the thought of what was in store for me. And for good reason! This is a fantastic, lightly spicy, good sauce. It’s just delicious. Finger-licking delicious. This is a real winner with just the right consistency and the price was great too!

Fresh Thyme Zesty Buffalo Wings

Classic Flavors with a Wonderful Twist

The spices used in the Fresh Thyme Zesty Buffalo wing sauce make for a great taste. It’s based on a fairly traditional wing sauce, but the flavor and spiciness is unique. I couldn’t have been happier with it. And even though it has just a little kick to it, it doesn’t hit hard. I think even my “I can’t stand spiciness” friends would love this sauce too!

Fresh Thyme Wild Buffalo Wings

I’m a big fan of the wing sauces I’ve picked up at our local Fresh Thyme Market. They’ve all been super tasty and at the right price (that’s a win-win!). The Fresh Thyme Wild Buffalo wing sauce is no exception. This sauce is a nice, mellow Buffalo sauce. It’s a mix of great traditional Buffalo wing sauce flavor with a few twists. Worcestershire sauce and molasses make you realize that it’s not just another cayenne pepper sauce.

Fresh Thyme Wild Buffalo Wings

The Right Amount of Heat

If you’re just a little kick to your wings, Fresh Thyme’s Wild Buffalo wing sauce is perfect for you. If you want a little more heat, try their Zesty Buffalo wing sauce. Either way, you can’t go wrong with Fresh Thyme wing sauces.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Croix Valley Tequila Lime Wings

Croix Valley Tequila Lime wing sauce is different. It’s rather unlike most wings sauces. In a way it kind of reminded me of a few Thai chili wing sauces I’ve tried, but only in a way. It’s a little on the sweet side (I mean that in a good way). There are hints of tequila and lime that add a bit of a tang. It has a little bit of jalapeno but it’s not spicy. The flavor, though, oh! This is crazy delicious sauce. I could not stop licking my fingers. I wanted more sauce. More!

Croix Valley Tequila Lime Wings

A Totally Different, Totally Delicious Sauce

Croix Valley Tequila Lime wings are just flat-out enjoyable. Like their other sauces, this is a quality sauce. Good stuff is in the bottle. Yes, bottle. Glass. No plastic here. This is what makes a good sauce better. I’d buy and use this sauce again and again without hesitation.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Buffalo Wild Wings Lemon Pepper Wings

It says it right there on the label of Buffalo Wild Wings Lemon Pepper wing sauce: “with Bright Citrus”. What does that mean, you might ask? It means when you take that first bite of wings tossed in the sauce you’ll get a big ole hit of lemon citrus. There’s no missing it. No mistaking it. It’s citrus and it’s citrus big time. Oh, there’s pepper too, but the citrus is up front and jumps out first. I found this to be a different, tasty sauce. And somewhat unexpected.

Buffalo Wild Wings Lemon Pepper Wings

Delightfully Citrusy

You won’t confuse Buffalo Wild Wings Lemon Pepper wing sauce with their wing seasoning that I use to make tremendous dry wings. The citrus flavor really distinguishes it from anything else I’ve tried. I can see it being excellent on grilled chicken breasts or fish, and as a marinade for either.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Chik’N-Lik’N BBQ Wings

Just because it doesn’t say ‘wing sauce’ on the label doesn’t mean it isn’t going to be good on wings. And actually, Chik’N-Lik’N BBQ wings aren’t just good. They’re flat-out delicious. I devoured these wings like I hadn’t eaten in weeks. A little savory, with a light mustardy tang and just a bit of spiciness, I can see why people love this sauce on more than chicken.

Chik'N-Lik'N Wings

This Sauce Makes Me Happy

I didn’t use up the entire bottle of sauce on my Chik’N-Lik’N BBQ wings, although I certainly could’ve made a few more batches of wings and loved every one of them. No, I saved some for roasted chicken and even burgers. The sauce was delicious on both. This is one great sauce to keep on hand, even substituting it for ketchup on fries!
