House of Wings Garlic Wing Sauce Wings

Alliger’s House of Wings is a highly-rated establishment located in Sayre, PA, halfway between Elmira and Owego NY. It’s definitely on my to-visit list because let me tell you, their wing sauces are insanely good. I recently ordered a bottle of every single one. Starting with the House of Wings Garlic wing sauce, I have to say I am in love with these sauces. This sauce brings the garlic and then some. It also has that great classic Buffalo wing flavor. With just the right amount of heat. And lots of garlic. Did I mention the garlic?

House of Wings Garlic Wings

Garlic Love In Every Bite

House of Wings Garlic wing sauce has the consistency of a traditional Buffalo sauce. Not too thick. Just right. The website states that this is one of their best-selling sauces, and I can definitely see why.

Also on Alliger’s website you’ll find ways to take their bottled sauces and, with just a few more ingredients, make all-new flavors. Cool idea!

Blonde Beard’s Rooster Dry Wings

Blonde Beard’s is known for their wing sauces. But they also sell a wing seasoning, known as Rooster Dry Rub. It’s a wonderful combination of Cajun flavors and roasted garlic. It has a very low heat level so you don’t worry about scaring anyone off. Blonde Beard’s Rooster dry wings are fantastic and if you’ve not tried dry wings, this will make a believer out of you with the first bite!

The bottle says ‘wing rub’ but I can ensure you that’s not all it’s good on. It’s really good on wings. I love the roasted garlic flavor most. It’s a different flavor for wings, for me at least, and reminds me of roasted whole chicken (hint: roast a chicken and put this rub on it and you’ll thank me!).

Blonde Beard's Rooster Dry Wings

More Is Definitely Better

I prefer to season my ‘dry’ wings after they are cooked, especially if the seasoning I’m using might char a bit when exposed to high heat. I found that to be the case with Rooster Dry Rub when I applied it to wings before cooking them in an air fryer. Blonde Beard’s Rooster dry wings were much better when seasoned after cooking instead. And don’t be shy with it either. It’s really good and you really can’t go wrong with adding more. You can go wrong with not adding enough!

Like I said, Blonde Beard’s claim-to-fame is their sauces (look at them! Yowsa!) but don’t overlook their rub!

Make sure you seal your wing seasonings well after using. You don’t want any moisture sneaking in. This dust comes in shaker bottles that seal perfectly!

Legend Larry’s Honey BBQ Wing Sauce Wings

A little sweet. And a little heat. A little tangy mustard. And the perfect flavor combinations. The perfect consistency. Legend Larry’s Honey BBQ wing sauce is spot-on the perfect wing sauce. There’s nothing wrong with traditional Buffalo-inspired wing flavors, but sometimes you want something totally new and totally different. This is it. This is one fantastic sauce that you’ll find yourself craving over and over.

Legend Larry's Honey BBQ Wings

Decidedly Different. Definitely Delicious.

Legend Larry’s Honey BBQ wing sauce isn’t just for wings, either. I like to brush it on grilled or smoked ribs. It’s also fantastic as a dipping sauce for grilled chicken breasts or chicken nuggets. Since it’s not too thin (or thick) it makes for a great all-around sauce.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Heritage Fare Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

This right here is one fantastic bottled Buffalo wing sauce. Heritage Fare hit this one out of the park, big time. Just the right Buffalo flavor, just the right amount of heat. And Heritage Fare Buffalo chicken wings sauce has just the right consistency, too. And that’s just as important as taste. Doesn’t matter how great tasting a sauce is if it all ends up at the bottom of a plate, and not on your wings!

Heritage Fare Buffalo Chicken Wings

Great Classic Buffalo Flavor

I can’t recommend Heritage Fare Buffalo wing sauce enough. I loved it. Sure, you can make a Buffalo wing sauce at home easy enough, but you’re going to have a hard time beating the taste and convenience of it right out of the bottle.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Chik’N-Lik’N BBQ Sauce Wings

Just because it doesn’t say ‘wing sauce’ on the label doesn’t mean it isn’t going to be good on wings. And actually, Chik’N-Lik’N BBQ sauce wings aren’t just good. They’re flat-out delicious. I devoured these wings like I hadn’t eaten in weeks. A little savory, with a light mustardy tang and just a bit of spiciness, I can see why people love this sauce on more than chicken.

Chik'N-Lik'N Wings

This Sauce Makes Me Happy

I didn’t use up the entire bottle of sauce on my Chik’N-Lik’N BBQ sauce wings, although I certainly could’ve made a few more batches of wings and loved every one of them. No, I saved some for roasted chicken and even burgers. The sauce was delicious on both. This is one great sauce to keep on hand, even substituting it for ketchup on fries!

SouthHouse Spicy Ranch Wing Sauce Wings

This is why you should not scroll through your Facebook feed too fast if it’s like mine and is full of food-related posts and ads. I don’t usually pay attention to ads but a recent one from SouthHouse, a sports bar and restaurant in Philadelphia caught my eye. I saw bottles of wing sauces and they all looked fantastic. They’re made in-house and sounded great, so I ordered a bottle of each flavor, including Spicy Ranch, to try out.

SouthHouse Spicy Ranch Wings

What’s The First Word In The Name?

The Spicy Ranch wing sauce is… spicy! That’s why the word ‘spicy’ comes first, I bet! It’s not super-Ranchy, and not buttermilk Ranchy like say, your favorite dressing. But as you can see below, it makes for some awesome-looking wings.

For me the heat in the SouthHouse Spicy Ranch wing sauce is just right. It hit me right up front, but then mellowed out as I went. So it’s not like I was curled up on the floor in a ball. I liked it. And I can use it as a dip for veggies too!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Old Mill Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

We were on vacation in Sevierville, TN for a few days. Whenever we travel I make it a point to seek out local stores that might have wing sauces I can’t find around home. This time we stopped at the Old Mill. The mill has been around almost 200 years and is the oldest operating grist mill in the US. They have a great restaurant and a store where you can get all sorts of great foods and other items. I of course grabbed a bottle of their Buffalo wing sauce so I could make some Old Mill Buffalo wings as soon as I got back home!

The sauce is your fairly standard Buffalo wing sauce. It has a nice heat level to it. And the flavor is actually quite good. I found it to be quite tasty. It’s a little on the thin side, but not so thin that you don’t end up with a lake of sauce on your plate.

Old Mill Buffalo Wings

Memories in a Wing

The Old Mill Buffalo wings are sure to satisfy with great traditional Buffalo flavor. And they also bring back memories. We had a great vacation (again) in the Sevierville area. Oh, and while you’re at the Old Mill store, pick up some of their many flours and corn meal mixes. They have great stuff for making fried chicken, fish and vegetables. And more. Lots more. Tons more.

June Moon Honey Mustard Wing Sauce Wings

I thought that these June Moon honey mustard wing sauce wings were absolutely outstanding. I like mustard, but I don’t like it overly… mustardy. This sauce isn’t overbearingly mustardy. Not this sauce, no. It’s spot-on with the right balance of mustard and the sweetness of honey but it’s not crazy sweet either. This is one great experience on a chicken wing, right here. Get some and you’ll be happy too!

June Moon Honey Mustard Wings

Mustardy Goodness without being too Mustardy

June Moon honey mustard wing sauce wings are a great alternative to your standard, Buffalo-style wings. Mix it up. Do a little of both. This sauce is just the right creamy thickness, with just the right flavor to satisfy anyone. Like their other sauces, June Moon hit this one out of the park!

If I am serving my wings with Ranch or blue cheese or some other sauce, I use these little sauce dipping cups. They’re the perfect size for dipping wings, nuggets, tenders and even vegetables. And they’re easy to clean, too!

Croix Valley Tequila Lime Wing Sauce Wings

Croix Valley Tequila Lime wing sauce is different. It’s rather unlike most wings sauces. In a way it kind of reminded me of a few Thai chili wing sauces I’ve tried, but only in a way. It’s a little on the sweet side (I mean that in a good way). There are hints of tequila and lime that add a bit of a tang. It has a little bit of jalapeno but it’s not spicy. The flavor, though, oh! This is crazy delicious sauce. I could not stop licking my fingers. I wanted more sauce. More!

Croix Valley Tequila Lime Wings

A Totally Different, Totally Delicious Sauce

Croix Valley Tequila Lime wing sauce wings are just flat-out enjoyable. Like their other sauces, this is a quality sauce. Good stuff is in the bottle. Yes, bottle. Glass. No plastic here. This is what makes a good sauce better. I’d buy and use this sauce again and again without hesitation.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Margaritaville Mango Habanero Wing Sauce Wings

Fruity. Spicy. Sweet. Ah, what a great sauce. This one didn’t last long in my house. My Margaritaville Mango Habanero wing sauce wings were a big favorite from the first taste. You can make wings any way you want. Heck, grab some frozen ones from the grocery store and cook them up like the bag says. Or make them from scratch. Me, I just threw some fresh wings into my air fryer then sauced them up. The sauce is the star here. Don’t put any seasoning on your wings that might fight with the sauce.

Margaritaville Mango Habanero Wing Sauce Wings

More Than A Wing Sauce

My first thought with any bottled sauce is ‘wings’. Even if it doesn’t say just ‘wings’. The bottle for Mango Habanero wing sauce from Margaritaville also says ‘marinade’. And it’d be mighty great for that too. It could also say ‘dipping sauce’ because I can definitely see grabbing another bottle and using that for deep-fried shrimp dipping. It’s not a thick sauce, so it’d be great for more than just wings. So grab more than one bottle. You’ll need it.
