Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing

We’ve all had the standard blue cheese dressing. We’ve all dunked countless wings into it, cooling off the crazy hot wings we were about to devour. We love the tanginess, the creaminess. Well this creamy blue cheese dressing is that dressing and a whole lot more. A lot more flavor. Still that great blue cheese ‘funkiness’ with a lot more depth. This is a drinkable dressing if ever there was one.

Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing

The Right Dressing for the Job

This creamy blue cheese dressing is perfect for dunking wings. Why? Well, first, it has the perfect consistency. Second, the flavors compliment just about any flavor wing perfectly. And last, it’ll cool you off if you’re experiencing a bit of ‘wing discomfort’ after biting in the hottest wing you’ve ever had. And even if you’re not.

More Crumbles, More Better

If you want more blue cheesiness, feel free to add a few crumbles. Me, I don’t like my blue cheese dressing too crumbly when it comes to dunking wings. Those crumbles tend to slide off the wings. Then what? No crumbles. So what’s the point then if they just fall off?

Simple Truth Organic Spicy Garlic Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

My experience with organic or ‘clean’ wing sauces has been kind of ‘hit and miss’. Well, truthfully, mostly ‘miss’. These Simple Truth Organic Spicy Garlic Buffalo wing sauce wings are not a ‘miss’. But, I can’t say they were a big ‘hit’ either. So I guess somewhere in between is where these landed.

Simple Truth Organic Spicy Garlic Buffalo Wings

Full Of Healthy Stuff

There is a nice little kick from these Simple Truth Organic Spicy Garlic Buffalo wing sauce wings. And the garlic is just about right. The base Buffalo sauce is not the best ever, but fortunately the heat and garlic come along and make up for that a bit. And this is definitely an organic sauce. If you’re into good ingredients, this sauce is probably for you. If you’re in for a traditional Buffalo wing sauce with a little heat and garlic, you might have to stray outside the ‘organic’ box. At least for now.

Kinder’s Woodfired Garlic Dry Wings

My oh me oh goodness. It’s hard to put into words how much I loved these Kinder’s Woodfired garlic dry wings. The seasoning is just perfect. It helps that I’m a total garlic addict. But this isn’t any ordinary garlic flavor, nope. It’s garlic that has been roasted over a fire. Who does that? Great people do that! And they put it in a shaker bottle so I can have the best dry wings ever!

Kinder's Woodfired Garlic Dry Wings

Crazy Fantastically Good And A Big Favorite Of Mine.

I went big when I seasoned my wings. Kinder’s Woodfired garlic wings can handle lots of seasoning. The flavor is so good I can’t get enough. Up next, I’m sprinkling some on a whole roasted chicken. This stuff is going to replace my traditional rotisserie chicken for sure. I love it (in case you couldn’t tell)!

Pretty Thai Muay Thai Sauce Wings

These Pretty Thai Muay Thai sauce wings are exactly why it pays to wander around your grocery store with an eye out for anything that might make good on wings. I picked up some of the Pretty Thai sauces in the Asian section. Sure, I had stir-fry on the brain too, but first and foremost I thought of only one thing. Wings. So I made up a quick batch of easy wings, tossed them in some sauce and got to it!

Pretty Thai Muay Thai Wings

Get Funky With It

These Pretty Thai Muay Thai sauce wings have a nice lip-tingling citrus tang that you get pretty early on. And there’s a little of that great fish sauce ‘funkiness’. That umami flavor you don’t find much anywhere else. And oh yes, a bit of heat from Thai chili. It’s got a nice spice level to it, I really liked it.

This sauce may seem a little thin. It was meant for stir-fry and the like. But it works just fine on wings.

Torchbearer Mild Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

If you’ve never had a wing sauce from Torchbearer you need to get to it. Time’s wasting and there’s no time like now to enjoy something totally different. Pick up a bottle and check out the ingredients. Torchbearer mild Buffalo wing sauce contains Mandarin orange, tomato, carrot, onion and a whole lot of other natural things. Didn’t expect that did you? Neither did I the first time, and I loved it. This sauce like their others is different, wonderfully tasty and great on wings.

Torchbearer Mild Buffalo Wings

Just The Right Amount Of Vinegary Goodness

Torchbearer mild Buffalo wing sauce is not overly vinegary. It’s not super spicy, but it does have a little kick to it. Nothing to be afraid of. This is a very tasty sauce that isn’t like the traditional version but might even be better!

McCormick Grill Mates Nashville Hot Chicken Dry Wings

About half the wings I make and eat are ‘dry’. Just cooked up (often in an air fryer) and then tossed in a seasoning. Sometimes a lot of seasoning. Sometimes not so much. No sauce in sight. But they are always good. Like these McCormick Grill Mates Nashville Hot Chicken dry wings. This seasoning is the perfect blend of chili pepper, paprika, brown sugar, onion and garlic. It has a nice kick to it. It’s not mellow but it’s not overpowering either. The flavor is fantastic, and certainly reminiscent of the namesake chicken. These are great dry wings.

Great Flavor And Kick In A Dry Wing

I’m not shy with the seasoning when I make my McCormick Grill Mates Nashville Hot Chicken wings. Well, at least not when I make them for myself. I like a good bit of heat in every bite. I’d go a bit lighter on it if I was serving them to friends or family, specially if they say they like a little kick but not a painful amount.

Terrapin Ridge Farms Hot Pepper Bacon Wing Sauce Wings

This is one decidedly different wing sauce. When I made a batch of Terrapin Ridge Farms hot pepper bacon wing sauce wings I knew I was in for a total detour from the usual bottled wing sauce. For starters, this sauce looks different. You can see the real, fresh ingredients inside. You can see peppers. And you can see tomato sauce. It almost looks like a salsa or even a jam, but not as thick. That first bite proved this isn’t the usual sauce. Smoky bacon, plenty of roasted red peppers, a very slight bit of jalapeno spiciness and tomato goodness are the stars of the show here.

Terrapin Ridge Farms Hot Pepper Bacon Wings

I Got It At Buc-ee’s

I picked up a bottle of this sauce at a Buc-ee’s in Sevierville, TN. I’m always on the lookout for a wing sauce I haven’t tried, and these Terrapin Ridge Farms Hot Pepper Bacon wing sauce wings are a good reason why. There’s no point in getting bored with the sauces you keep using over and over. Branch out. There are a ton of great sauces out there, like this one!

Also good on…

This sauce would be crazy good on grilled or smoke ribs.

Market District Creamy Buffalo Blue Cheese Wing Sauce Wings

Blue cheese. It says it on the bottle. It’s not in the fine print either. It’s right up, on the front. And it’s good too. Market District Creamy Buffalo blue cheese wing sauce wings hit the spot for me. Nice fairly-mellow traditional Buffalo wing flavors in a creamy sauce, with plenty of blue cheese flavor. I like creamy sauces and this one goes into the ‘like’ column for sure.

A Creamy Take On The Classic Sauce

Market District (from Giant Eagle) makes great sauces at great prices. The Market District Creamy Buffalo blue cheese wing sauce brings great flavor at a great price. I love the aged cayenne and what a difference it makes to the taste of the sauce. It’s well worth whatever extra process or time is involved with adding it to the sauce. The flavor is much more complex.

Frank’s RedHot Original Seasoning Dry Wings

Please don’t tell anyone this. But I ate Frank’s RedHot Original Seasoning dry wings three days in a row. In my defense, this seasoning is absolutely delicious. A little garlic and a really good amount of cayenne and a few other good things come together in what is one of the best wing seasonings around. Heck yeah, you can use it on fries or baked potatoes or whatever, but not me. I’m saving it all for wings.

Frank's RedHot Original Seasoning Dry Wings

The Perfect Dry Wing

I prefer to make my Frank’s RedHot Original Seasoning dry wings in my air fryer. First, it’s easy. Second, they come out fantastic. I season the wings a little before cooking. Then when they’re done, and while they’re still crazy hot, I really season them. Like a lot. More is better. Then I burn my tongue with the first bite because I have no patience. They’re so good that I cannot wait like a normal person for them to cool off.

The folks over at Frank’s RedHot know what they are doing. These are some great wings. Also try their mild Buffalo wings!

Baked Garlic and Onion Wings

If you want to make your belly happy and as a bonus make your house smell amazing, make yourself a batch of these baked garlic and onion wings. Lots of garlic. Lots of onion. Heck, I’m not always a fan of baked wings but these made a believer out of me. They’re very flavorful. They’re cooked perfectly. Nice and tasty, I’d make these again.

Baked Garlic and Onion Wings

Leave ’em alone

I do have one suggestion when you make your baked garlic and onion wings. Don’t flip them while they are baking. Just let them be. You turn them and they’ll lose a bit of that flavor. Not much, not enough to really notice, but you’ll see it. Heck, you can see it my picture. Believe me, they were still great, but if I learned something from a recipe, I’ll pass it along!
