Hoosier Daddy Sweet and Sassy BBQ Sauce Wings

There are three places I always go when I go to the grocery store. Of course, the wing sauce section. Then there’s the seasoning section (in case I find a new wing seasoning or something that might go good on dry wings). And the BBQ sauce section. I need BBQ sauce, but not just for my ribs or burgers or whatever. Nope, for my wings. Like these Hoosier Daddy Sweet and Sassy BBQ sauce wings. Just cook up a batch of wings and toss them in sauce. Or brush it on. Or serve it on the side for dipping. However you do it, BBQ sauce is great on wings!

Hoosier Daddy Sweet and Sassy BBQ Wings

Great BBQ Sauces Make Great Wings

This sauce is perfect. Hoosier Daddy Sweet and Sassy BBQ sauce wings have just the right amount of sweetness to them. And just a kiss of heat. Not too much of either, just the right amounts. There’s a bit of a smokiness, too. This sauce is a wonderful concoction, with everything from ketchup to mustard to peach. Yes, peach. Not to say it’s “peachy”, no. But oh, what a wonderful addition it is. Clever, I’d even say!

Croix Valley Parmesan Garlic Dry Wings

Oh, wings, glorious wings! I am a big fan of dry (un-sauced) wings. Croix Valley Parmesan Garlic wing seasoning takes dry wings to a whole new place. The spices aren’t overwhelming. You get the garlic. You get the Parmesan. And you get wings. The flavors don’t hide the fact that you’re still eating wings. Heck, if you can’t taste the wings what’s the point? This stuff is fantastic. They made my nice-and-crispy air fryer wings something special.

Croix Valley Parmesan Garlic Dry Wings

Great Flavor In Every Bite

I cannot say enough how much I loved Croix Valley Parmesan Garlic dry wings seasoning. I cannot wait to use it on things, too. A whole roasted chicken would be fantastic sprinkled with this dust. Oh, and someone suggested that I try shrimp the same way! The combination of garlic and Parmesan would be fantastic on shrimp or popcorn! What great ideas!

If I am serving my wings with Ranch or blue cheese or some other sauce, I use these little dipping cups. They’re the perfect size for dipping wings, nuggets, tenders and even vegetables. And they’re easy to clean, too!

Buffalo Wild Wings Salt and Vinegar Dry Wings

The bottle says right on it, in big letters, ‘Salt and Vinegar’. It’s no fib, either. No false advertising there. Nothing but truth. Buffalo Wild Wings Salt and Vinegar wing seasoning brings the salt and vinegar. Don’t open it and stick your nose in and take a big whiff unless you’re prepared for the vinegar, because it’s coming.

Buffalo Wild Wings Salt and Vinegar Wings

The Perfect Combination of Salt and Vinegar

I usually only season my dry wings after cooking. But for extra flavor, try tossing the raw wings with a few tablespoons of vegetable oil and then season well. Cook as desired, then season more just before serving.

This is my first time using a seasoning from Buffalo Wild Wings. I loved the flavor for sure. Good thing I bought a bottle of each of their available flavors to try!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Also try Buffalo Wild Wing’s honey BBQ wings.

Kinder’s Spicy Teriyaki Sauce Wings

Well, I’m up to 4 days in a row now devouring some Kinder’s Spicy Teriyaki sauce wings for lunch. Yeah, you’re probably not supposed to eat wings 4 days in a row. I promise to eat a salad tomorrow (maybe). But I can’t stop myself. I absolutely love the sauce on these wings. I already knew Kinder’s makes a great teriyaki sauce, but now they went and added spicy red jalapeno and ginger and taken this sauce to a place I could only dream of. This is what teriyaki sauce should be.

I absolutely love this sauce.

Kinder's Spicy Teriyaki Wings

Just Make Some Wings

It really doesn’t matter what wings you put this sauce on. Fresh-cooked. Frozen. Doesn’t make a difference. Well, it kinda does. Don’t use anything that’s already heavily seasoned. You don’t want anything to fight with this delicious sauce. I made simple air-fryer Kinder’s Spicy Teriyaki sauce wings and I went light on any seasoning I used. I could not get enough of the sauce. And I wanted more. And more.

Also try some delicious Kinder’s Thai BBQ sauce wings.

Wing Magic Smoky Lime Dry Wings

Dry wings are popular for a reason. There are a lot of great wing seasonings on the market. You don’t have to use them to make dry wings, you can instead use them to season wings before you sauce them. Often, though, I find myself going the dry route so I can enjoy the seasoning without it ‘fighting’ a sauce. Wing Magic Smoky Lime seasoning dry wings are a great reason why I do wings this way. This seasoning has a lightly smoky flavor with a little kick. You bet it’s just the right amount of sweet. And oh, lime! Delicious citrusy lime comes along for a decidedly different taste. These are great, different, wings!

Wing Magic Smoky Lime Dry Wings

Smoky Citrus Goodness

Wing Magic Smoky Lime dry wings seasoning comes from the folks over and the Fire and Smoke Society. They make a huge variety of absolutely addicting seasoning mixes. From burgers, to baked potatoes, to wings, they have the right flavors for everything. Head on over to their site and take a look around. You’ll be drooling in no time. I did!

Stubb’s Black Pepper Anytime Sauce Wings

I really love ‘dry’ chicken wings. By dry I mean not pre-sauced. Not ewwwy dry. Good dry. And they don’t have to be complicated either. Like these black pepper wings. Salt. Pepper. Wings. Well, ok, I did have a dipping sauce, but it’s the fantastic out-of-the-bottle Stubb’s Sweet Black Pepper Anytime sauce, which is also great as a marinade.

Stubb's Black Pepper Wings

More Pepper Is More Better

You don’t want to be shy with the black pepper on these wings. You want that pepper kick, and even a bit of pepper heat, to come through in every bite. Stubb’s makes a variety of sauces and they’re all great on wings, even if they don’t say ‘wing sauce’ on the bottles. You’ll enjoy the intense pepperiness of these Stubb’s black pepper wings!

Also try Stubb’s Texas Sriracha sauce wings and their Wicked Habanero Pepper sauce wings.

Pepper Palace Blackberry Barbecue Sauce Wings

I highly recommend the sampling bar at the Pepper Palace store. I’ve been to a bunch of them. They’re almost like pilgrimages for me. Sauce after sauce, all lined up in a row, ready for me to try. And buy. I usually taste each and every one with a single purpose in mind: making chicken wings. And one thing I made was Pepper Palace blackberry barbecue sauce wings. Sure, the bottle says ‘barbecue sauce’ on it, but oh, fear not my fellow wing lovers! It’s fantastic on wings too!

Pepper Palace Blackberry Barbecue Wings

Great Berry Flavor In Every Bite

These Pepper Palace blackberry barbecue sauce wings have just the right amount of blackberry flavor. All in a slightly smoky sauce that is also just a bit sweet, all with the perfect consistency for sticking to your wings without being too thick. Yep, great on ribs, perfect on pulled pork, and outstanding on wings! And unexpected, too. How many are your friends are expecting blackberry wings at your next wing-fest?

Pepper Palace Watermelon Barbecue Sauce Wings

This is why you always have to hit up the sampling bar when you go to a Pepper Palace store. I’ve been to tons of their stores, and I always spend a good bit of time sampling. That’s where I ran across this barbecue sauce. Yes, barbecue. Of course I thought ‘wings’. Because I knew that Pepper Palace watermelon barbecue sauce wings would be different and fantastic. Fantastically different.

Pepper Palace Watermelon Barbecue Wings

Watermelon And Wings. It Works.

Pepper Palace watermelon barbecue sauce wings have just the right amount of watermelon flavor. Oh sure, you get a traditional BBQ sauce flavor too, and it’s balanced perfectly with the watermelon. These wings are a totally different change from your usual Buffalo-inspired wings.

Of course, this sauce is also fantastic on anything grilled, from ribs to pulled pork to whole roasted chicken.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of sauce, let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Kinder’s Honey BBQ Sauce Wings

Ahhhhh. Perfect. This is what a barbecue sauce is meant for. Wings. Oh yeah, I know, you put it on pulled pork, grilled chicken legs, ribs and even burgers. But on wings…. yum! Kinder’s honey BBQ sauce wings hit the spot and then some for me. The sauce is a nice traditional tomato-based sauce. It has a hint of smokiness, but just a hint. It has a nice sweetness, but not too much. It’s not candy, just a great BBQ sauce that loves to be tossed onto some hot-out-of-the-cooker wings.

Kinder's Honey BBQ Wings

Perfect Sweet BBQ Flavor

You can serve Kinder’s Honey BBQ sauce wings at a party and not worry about anyone complaining about the heat. If you’re seeking out a bit of spiciness, though, Kinder’s makes a spicy version of this BBQ sauce too. So, cover all of your bases and serve them both! Now you know that everyone will be happy!

This sauce is also great for dipping nuggets.

Kinder’s Honey Hot BBQ Sauce Wings

Maybe you’ve heard of ‘sweet heat’ and just aren’t sure what that is. Or maybe you have heard of it, love it, and are craving more of it. Either way, Kinder’s Honey Hot BBQ sauce wings are here to do one thing and that’s make you happy. The honey brings that wonderful natural sweetness. A little jalapeno brings just a kiss of spiciness. A hint of smoke all in a tomato-based sauce makes you think ‘backyard BBQ’. This is a great BBQ sauce that’s even better on wings.

Kinder's Honey Hot BBQ Wings

Stir it Up

Sometimes I toss my Kinder’s Honey Hot BBQ sauce wings in sauce. Sometimes I serve the sauce on the side (I like it warmed just slightly). But one thing I don’t do is toss battered deep-fried wings in sauce. I don’t want to lose that wonderful crusty coating. So if I’m serving deep-fried wings I either serve the sauce separately or I stir the wings gently after drizzling them with sauce using a rubber spatula.
