Spicy Japanese Barbecue Sauce Wings

This post is for the spicy version of Bachan’s Japanese barbecue sauce. Also check out my post on their non-spicy Japanese barbecue sauce!

It’s happened again. These Bachan’s Spicy Japanese Barbecue sauce wings have gone and made me sad, just like when I first tried their regular barbecue sauce. Sad that I went so long before buying a bottle and squeezing it onto some wings, that is! My goodness me is this ever good stuff! I mean crazy good. Lightly sweet and lightly salty with just a little kick (nothing to be afraid of!), it’s what teriyaki sauce wishes it could be. I cannot stop eating wings covered in this sauce (or the non-spicy version too!).

Spicy Japanese Barbecue Sauce Wings

Sauce ‘Em And Devour ‘Em

The sauce is a little on the thin side, just like its no-heat version. Normally that would be a minus on wings. You won’t want your sauce to end up at the bottom of your plate, you need it to stick to your wings. Well, this sauce has so much fantastic flavor that you don’t need it to be super thick. Not at all. If you want, do like I do and put a small bowl of extra sauce on the side for dipping your spicy Japanese barbecue sauce wings. You won’t regret it.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Also try the non-spicy version of these wings.

Rub Your Chicken Buffalo Wings

“Tame.” That’s the first word that came to mind after my first bites of some Rub Your Chicken Buffalo wings. After my last two super-hot Buffalo wing sauces, “tame” was a welcomed thing. Great traditional flavor, buttery and just slightly spicy, this is a great sauce for those desiring the classic without being overwhelmed. The amount of vinegar is spot on. Again, tame is the best way to describe it.

Rub Your Chicken Buffalo Wings

A Nice Mellow Buffalo-Inspired Sauce

Rub Your Chicken Buffalo wings sauce (from BBQ Spot) isn’t just for wings. It’s a great dipping sauce for nuggets, too. Anywhere you want great Buffalo flavor without being overwhelmed, you’ll want this sauce. That’s also why it makes for a great marinade, specially for chicken breasts. A few hours in the sauce then onto the grill. In no time you’ve got great chicken packed with flavor.

Also try some Secret Aardvark habanero wings.

Schnucks Spicy Garlic Wing Sauce Wings

We drove to Bloomington, IL for a few days and went over to Bloomington, IL to do a little antiquing. Our hotel was next door to a grocery store, a regional chain named Schnucks. This of course meant I had to go on a wing sauce hunt. Did I make out like a bandit! Schnuck’s has a big selection of its own brand of wing sauces. I grabbed a bottle of each one. The lady at the checkout didn’t even blink an eye at my conveyor belt full of sauces rolling slowly towards her. When we got home I made a batch of easy air fryer wings and sauced them up. I loved these Schnucks Spicy Garlic wing sauce wings!

Schnucks Spicy Garlic Wing Sauce Wings

Nice Flavor. Great Heat.

These Schnucks Spicy Garlic wing sauce wings hit the spot. They aren’t super spicy but they do make you sit up and notice. And they do have a nice garlic hit, too. Enough to make you notice that too. I was more than happy with the flavor. And I’ll tell you, you can’t beat the price either. Next time we’re anywhere near a Schnucks I’m stopping by and grabbing some more of this sauce and all their others!

Schnucks also makes a delicious honey BBQ wing sauce!

Kosmos Q Seven Pepper Face Lift Dry Wings

You probably don’t need me to tell you that there’s a lot of pepper in this seasoning. Kosmos Q Seven Pepper Face Lift dry wings are crazy good, but I gotta warn you. It opens up with a kick. It’ll wake you up, but an instant later you get nothing but fantastic peppery flavor. I mean, really good. After a few bites I was all about that heat and pepper and couldn’t get enough. But I admit, that first kick was … a kick!

Kosmos Q Seven Pepper Face Lift Dry Wings

The Label Does Say Pepper…

If you’re a tad shy about heat I’d recommend going light on the Kosmos Q Seven Pepper Face Lift dry wing seasoning the first time. And I don’t recommend sticking your finger into the bag the first time you open it to get a big ole taste. I paid for that. But, the heat does go away pretty quick, fortunately for me.

Make sure you seal your wing seasonings well after using. You don’t want any moisture sneaking in. Kosmos Q comes in quality pouches that seal perfectly!

You gotta make some Kosmos Q spicy garlic wings too!

Lawry’s Mango Habanero Dry Wings

I bought a big ole bottle of this seasoning, and I do mean big. Good thing that it’s really good stuff! Sometimes I sprinkle it on my wings before I cook and sauce them. And sometimes, I sprinkle it on my wings before and after I cook them. Lawry’s Mango Habanero dry wings are fantastic. They have some kick to them, some heat. It’ll make your lips tingle for sure. And it has a wonderful, almost tropical, mango flavor. Usually I’d expect that more from a sauce, but here it’s in a wonderful seasoning instead.

Lawry's Mango Habanero Dry Wings

Good Thing It Comes In A Big Bottle

Lawry’s Mango Habanero seasoning comes in a big ole bottle. It has the right-sized holes in the lid so you can shake it out nice and evenly over your wings. It says it’ll season 69 pounds of wings just from one bottle. Good thing, because I eat a lot of wings and this stuff is great! Make yourself a batch of Lawry’s Mango Habanero dry wings today!

Kosmos Q Lemon Pepper Wing Dust Wings

One thing is for sure, when you open a package of Kosmos Q Lemon Pepper wing dust, you don’t have to ask yourself which of their fantastic flavors you’re having. It’s darned obvious. Kosmos Q seasonings don’t mess around. They are packed with flavor. And that means you don’t have to use much to enjoy a batch of wonderfully-flavored wings. Lovely citrus and black pepper make this seasoning perfect on dry wings.

Kosmos Q Lemon Pepper Wing Dust Wings

This Ain’t No Lame Wing Dust

Kosmos Q Lemon Pepper wing dust is a great change from the usual spicy Buffalo-inspired seasonings. So, it’s not just great on wings, either. Sprinkle it generously on grilled or roasted chicken. It’s also great on roasted potatoes and veggies. You can’t go wrong with it no matter what you use it on!

You get a lot in each and every bag of Kosmos Q’s wing dusts. The seasonings are high quality and seasoned perfectly. You won’t regret buying it. And you won’t regret doing what I did: buy a bag of each and every flavor to try, then order much, much more!

Kosmos Q Garlic and Parmesan Wing Dust Wings

I’m a HUGE fan of dry wings. You know, wings that are cooked up nice and crunchy then tossed with a seasoning, such as Kosmos Q’s Garlic and Parmesan wing dust. No sauce. Yeah, you can have a dipping sauce, but the wings themselves are not tossed in anything but seasoning. I’m happy to see more and more restaurants and bars now offer dry wings in addition to wet ones.

Crazy good!

So, I tossed some air fryer wings with Kosmos Q’s Garlic and Parmesan wing dust and proceeded to devour each and every one. And quickly. The wing dust is crazy flavorful. I absolutely loved it. The garlic isn’t overpowering, it’s there and it’s perfect. Ditto the Parmesan. Also perfect. Certainly these are some of the best dry wings I’ve ever had. The dust is definitely finger-licking good!

Kosmos Q Garlic and Parmesan Wing Dust Wings

Not just for wings, nope!

Kosmos Q Garlic Parmesan wing dust isn’t just for wings, nope. This stuff is fantastic on a garlic bread. Just take slices of French bread and spread on a little melted butter. Then sprinkle some Kosmo’s Q Garlic and Parmesan wing dust. Remember, edge-to-edge is our pledge so make sure you get some dust along the edges of the bread too. Bake or grill at 425 F for a few minutes until golden brown. Devour. It makes for really, really great garlic Parmesan bread, trust me.

Get some!

You get a lot in each and every bag of Kosmos Q’s wing dusts. The seasonings are high quality and seasoned perfectly. You won’t regret buying it. And you won’t regret doing what I did: buy a bag of each and every flavor to try, then order much, much more!

Kosmos Q Buffalo Dry Wings

I’m a big fan of dry wings. It’s easy to be one, too, with flavors like those in these Kosmos Q Buffalo dry wings. I just cook up a batch of wings and toss them in the seasoning. That’s it. There’s nothing fancy going on here. Just good, traditional Buffalo wing flavor all in a powder (which I’m quite generous with, I do admit!). How cool and awesome is that? If you’ve never had dry wings you are really missing out. Since I discovered them I find myself ordering or making them at least half of the time I have wings.

Kosmos Q Buffalo Dry Wings

Fantastic Dry Wings With Just A Little Kick

Kosmo’s Q Buffalo dry wing dust has just the right amount of spiciness to it. It’s not crazy hot and it’s not crazy tame. Somewhere in-between. You gotta know you’re having Buffalo-inspired wings, right? Well, that’s what you get and then some!

Frank’s RedHot Buffalo ‘N BBQ Thick Sauce Wings

After completely destroying a batch of wings covered in Frank’s RedHot Original Thick Hot Sauce the other day (in absolutely no time at all I might add) I rushed to grab another bottle in the line of thick wing sauces. This time I tried Frank’s RedHot Buffalo ‘N BBQ Thick Sauce wings and man, was I ever blown away.

Great expectations

After the original sauce my expectations were high, perhaps too high, I thought. But oh no, this sauce blew me away and then some. Just the right mix of traditional Buffalo wing flavor and BBQ (with just a bit of smokiness). And thick. But not too thick. I was very happy with this sauce. I see why everyone puts this sh#t on everything!

Frank's RedHot Buffalo 'N BBQ Thick Sauce Wings

It’s The Bomb

Frank’s RedHot Original Thick Hot Sauce wings sauce isn’t just for wings. This sauce would be fantastic on grilled chicken. It would make for the world’s best chicken nugget dipping sauce. And it would be stellar on a grilled chicken sandwich. This stuff is the bomb. Get some.
