Noble Made Mild Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

I have a rule about grocery shopping. I always go to the condiment section to see what wing sauces I can find. This time, I was at Whole Foods Market when I came across a section of New Primal’s Noble Made wing sauces. I grabbed one of each and headed to the checkout. I’m always excited when I find a sauce that is new to me. Noble Made’s mild Buffalo wing sauce was a very pleasant surprise. This sauce has great flavor. It’s not overly vinegary. It’s not that spicy (hence the mild thing) and it doesn’t have to be. This is the perfect sauce for a wing party.

Noble Made Mild Buffalo Wings

Mild. But With Lots Of Flavor.

Noble Made’s Mild Buffalo wing sauce was so good that I cannot wait to try their other sauces. But first, I’m looking forward to my next batch of wings tossed in the mild version. The flavor is spot-on perfect. Even though I like my wings a bit spicy, I soon forgot about that with the first bite.

Melinda’s Thai Sweet Chili Sauce Wings

This sauce looked great just sitting in the bottle. It tasted even better. Slightly sweet, with just a hint of heat and garlic, Melinda’s Thai Sweet chili wing sauce wings are finger-licking good. I call it a ‘happy’ sauce because I was definitely happy after finishing off a batch of lunchtime wings tossed in it.

Melinda's Thai Sweet Chili Sauce Wings

Ok, Yes, I Use It For Nuggets Too

Though I am pretty much a wing-sauce-is-for-wings kind of guy, when I run across a sauce this good I will also use it on other dishes. It is also great for dipping chicken nuggets or fingers, and it’s great on grilled chicken sandwiches too. Anywhere you’d normally use chili sauce, use this instead! Give it a try and you’ll love it too!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Prefer a little spiciness instead? Try Melinda’s creamy style habanero wing sauce wings.

Meijer Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce Wings

Garlic Parmesan is the second wing sauce I’ve tried from Meijer grocery stores. Like the first one, sweet chili, I was completely happy with how great the sauce is. Perfect consistency. No artificial stuff. Very flavorful and just right. Yeah, you’re gonna have garlic breath for a while but it is called ‘Garlic Parmesan’ and not ‘No Garlic Parmesan’. Whomever named Meijer Garlic Parmesan wings sauce wasn’t lying about the garlic or the Parmesan!

Great On Roasted Or Grilled Chicken, Too!

I like this sauce so much I also slather it on grilled or roasted chicken. I also mix it in with cut up cooked chicken, perfect over a bed of greens for a grilled chicken salad.

Market District Creamy Buffalo Blue Cheese Wing Sauce Wings

Blue cheese. It says it on the bottle. It’s not in the fine print either. It’s right up, on the front. And it’s good too. Market District Creamy Buffalo blue cheese wing sauce wings hit the spot for me. Nice fairly-mellow traditional Buffalo wing flavors in a creamy sauce, with plenty of blue cheese flavor. I like creamy sauces and this one goes into the ‘like’ column for sure.

A Creamy Take On The Classic Sauce

Market District (from Giant Eagle) makes great sauces at great prices. The Market District Creamy Buffalo blue cheese wing sauce brings great flavor at a great price. I love the aged cayenne and what a difference it makes to the taste of the sauce. It’s well worth whatever extra process or time is involved with adding it to the sauce. The flavor is much more complex.

La Preferida Extra Hot Wing Sauce Wings

You can’t go wrong with a batch of La Preferida extra hot wing sauce wings. The sauce is what I would call your pretty much standard Buffalo wing sauce. With a good kick. Seasoned perfectly. To be truthful, with a trusted name like La Preferida on the label, I was expecting a little something different. A twist. A little special seasoning. That didn’t happen. But, these are still good wings. If you’re in the market for a good Buffalo wing sauce, this is a great choice.

La Preferida Extra Hot Wings

A Rarity?

I found a bottle of La Preferida extra hot wing sauce at a specialty grocery store in Cincinnati. I can’t find it online anywhere. Heck, I even tried contacting the company to see what the deal is and why I can’t find it anywhere. I wanted to make more La Preferida extra hot wings. I do love a good Buffalo wing sauce and this is up there with all the big names in wing sauces.

Fried. Or Not.

I made my wings my standard fried way. Just a light coating. Fried to perfection. Then sauced. That’s it. Well, that and happiness.

June Moon Strawberry Jalapeno Wing Sauce Wings

Strawberry jalapeno BBQ sauce is a good thing, and strawberry jalapeno wing sauce is a fantastic thing! This sauce from June Moon packs strawberry flavor in right up front. You smell that wonderful strawberry aroma, and then you definitely taste it. Then comes that heat. Not too strong, but you’ll get it. Then it’s gone. It doesn’t linger and burn you forever. You get some sweet, then some heat and both are great. These June Moon Strawberry Jalapeno wing sauce wings are fantastically different!

June Moon Strawberry Jalapeno Wings

“Wow” Different

This is the second wonderful wing sauce from June Moon that I’ve tried. The first, mango habanero, also impressed me with its fresh fruit flavor and taste and a good dose of heat. The June Moon strawberry jalapeno wing sauce is another winner that definitely did not fail to also impress me. These are great, small-batch, fresh-tasting sauces.

If I am serving my wings with Ranch or blue cheese or some other sauce, I use these little sauce dipping cups. They’re the perfect size for dipping wings, nuggets, tenders and even vegetables.

Also try some June Moon sweet-n-spicy wing sauce wings.

June Moon Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

The June Moon Spice Company has gone and done it again. This time, they’ve made a fantastic Buffalo wing sauce. Like their other sauces, June Moon Buffalo wings sauce looks great right out of the bottle. They only make small batch sauces, with the best ingredients. This sauce is nice and creamy. It’s not vinegar-based, which is a welcome change from the traditional Buffalo sauce. And it’s easy on those of us that can’t handle a lot vinegar, though there certainly is vinegar in the sauce. It’s very tasty, a tad garlicky and lightly spicy, but certainly not overly so. I’d call it mild.

June Moon Buffalo Wings

A Wonderfully Creamy Buffalo Sauce

June Moon Buffalo wing sauce is also great on the side, as a dipping sauce for chicken nuggets or tenders. Or on a grilled chicken sandwich. It’s nice creamy consistency will keep it sticking to whatever you use it on, without being gloppy. And it’s not so spicy that you’ll have people reaching for their water bottles (or milk).

Joey Chestnut Sweet Sriracha Teriyaki Wing Sauce Wings

Man, what a great wing sauce this is. When I first ran across a display of Joey Chestnut Sweet Sriracha Teriyaki wing sauce my first reaction was ‘now that’s definitely different’. I’ve tried a few of Joey’s (I hope I can call him Joey) wing flavors, and they’ve all been crazy good. This one is no exception. It goes on a bit thick, but not too thick. It’s a bit sweet, but a lot of that sweetness is tamed by Sriracha heat. Add in a hint of Asian-inspired goodness and you’ve got a wonderful combination of flavors. I’m a big fan of this sauce. Well, actually, I’m a fan of every one of the wing sauces from Joey Chestnut.

House of Wings Kamikaze Wing Sauce Wings

I bought a big box of bottled wing sauces from Alliger’s House of Wings. Located in Sayre, PA, Alliger’s has some of the best bottled sauces I’ve ever had. I cannot get enough of them. House of Wings Kamikaze wing sauce is no exception. It’s nice and spicy. No wimpy sauce here, that’s for sure. It’s different and very good. It has hints of being a traditional kicked-up Buffalo wing sauce. But then comes the soy sauce. And horseradish. And ginger. See, I told you it was different.

House of Wings Kamikaze Wings

Think Buffalo. Think Asian.

My only complaint about House of Wings Kamikaze wing sauce is that I didn’t order enough of it or any of their other flavors. Don’t do like I did and order one or two of each bottle. Back up the truck. Get a lot of each one. You won’t regret getting a bunch of them. You will regret not getting enough.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

House of Wings Honey Mustard Wing Sauce Wings

Alliger’s House of Wings is a highly-rated establishment located in Sayre, PA, halfway between Elmira and Owego NY. It’s definitely on my to-visit list because let me tell you, their wing sauces are insanely good. I recently ordered a bottle of every single one. House of Wings honey mustard wing sauce is a really nice balance of the tang of mustard with a little sweet. I often find myself leery of mustard wing sauce. Sometimes the mustard is so overwhelming you can’t taste anything else. Not so here, this sauce strikes the perfect balance.

House of Wings Honey Mustard Wings

Mustardy Without Being Too Mustardy

House of Wings honey mustard wing sauce is finger-licking good. Brush it on roasted chicken, or grilled pork too. It’s also great as a dipping sauce for chicken nuggets. Much better than that questionable stuff in the packets.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.
