House of Wings Honey Mustard Wing Sauce Wings

Alliger’s House of Wings is a highly-rated establishment located in Sayre, PA, halfway between Elmira and Owego NY. It’s definitely on my to-visit list because let me tell you, their wing sauces are insanely good. I recently ordered a bottle of every single one. House of Wings honey mustard wing sauce is a really nice balance of the tang of mustard with a little sweet. I often find myself leery of mustard wing sauce. Sometimes the mustard is so overwhelming you can’t taste anything else. Not so here, this sauce strikes the perfect balance.

House of Wings Honey Mustard Wings

Mustardy Without Being Too Mustardy

House of Wings honey mustard wing sauce is finger-licking good. Brush it on roasted chicken, or grilled pork too. It’s also great as a dipping sauce for chicken nuggets. Much better than that questionable stuff in the packets.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Tyson Smoked Crispy Wings

I admit it, I do eat my share of chicken wings. Most of the time that means picking up a family pack of 3-4 pounds of fresh wings at the grocery store and cooking them up. Fried, baked, grilled… any way I want. I also always keep some wings on hand in the freezer. Why? Because, well, I like them and they are quick and easy. I picked up a bag of these Tyson Smoked crispy wings and made them the other day in my air fryer. And ya know, for fast already-made wings, they were pretty good!

Tyson Smoked Crispy Wings

Crunchy Battered Yumminess

Tyson smoked crispy wings are a variety of wing pieces that are “smoked” and battered. Some pieces are bigger than others. Some are meatier than others. Cooking them involves tossing them into the air fryer or oven for a little bit. That’s it. They come out hot and crispy. Like really hot. So be careful with them until they cool a bit.

You can sauce the wings after you heat them or leave them un-sauced. They’re smaller wings, usually, making them easy to dunk in your favorite sauce or dressing. You could easily make these wings for a crowd, though you’d probably want to make them in the oven since you can only do a small amount at a time in the air fryer.

A Little Extra Cook Time

I like to cook these wings a few more minutes longer than the bag states. It could just be my air fryer or oven. I do like crunchier wings. That extra time gets me to crunchy wing happiness.

Also try some Tyson Caribbean style crispy wings.

  • Remove wings and let cool for 2 minutes before serving.

For the oven

  • Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Add wings and cook for 10 minutes. Flip and cook another 10-15 minutes.

Tyson Korean BBQ Frozen Wings

I’m usually a make-them-fresh wing kinda guy. But I am also open to trying just about any wing you can make, including the ones I find in bags or boxes in the freezer section of my local grocery. I don’t usually have really high expectations for them. Often the ‘wings’ are small or don’t have much meat. Or are inconsistent in size and taste. So I tend to be kinda pessimistic when I buy them. I have to say, though, that I was pretty impressed with these Tyson Korean BBQ frozen wings. Meaty? Yep. Tasty? Yep.

Tyson Korean BBQ Frozen Wings

They Look Like Wings!

It might seem strange to be surprised that these Tyson Korean BBQ frozen wings look like wings. I’ve had some weird looking frozen wings before. I open the bag or box and wonder what I’m looking at. Not these, though. They looked like flats and drummies. I could recognize them. So right off the bat, things were looking good!

And They’re Tasty, Too!

These wings are coated in a kinda tangy Korean BBQ sauce. And not sorta coated. Unlike some wings, these wings have flavor all around, everywhere. These wings are not spicy. A little sweet but there’s no heat. I thought the sauce was quite tasty actually. I’d happily buy a bottle of this sauce by itself and use it on my own wings!

Spicy Dry Rub Hot Wings

There’s something about spicy dry-rubbed wings that I really love. It’s the subtle flavoring. Nothing overpowering. And you still taste the chicken. It’s easy to lose sight of the chicken when you drown them in sauce. That’s why I am more than happy with wings just tossed with seasoning, like these spicy dry rub hot wings. If you’ve never tried or even heard of dry wings, you’re missing out. Now’s your chance to have something amazing, something different than sauced wings.

Spicy Dry Rub Hot Wings

That Depth Of Flavor Thing

The seasoning on these spicy dry rub hot wings has the perfect combination of heat, with a hint of smoke. Smoked paprika is a great ingredient for cooking wings, especially if you deep fry them. It adds that ‘almost tastes grilled’ flavor without firing up the grill. I often add smoked paprika in place of sweet paprika for that reason.

I like to make my spice, rub and seasoning mixes in big batches and keep them in large bottles with easy-to-pour shaker lids.

Old Bay Wings

My wife and I recently spent a few days in lovely Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania while attending a conference. I made sure I had my ‘to-eat’ list down before leaving, because one thing you can be sure of finding in Pittsburgh: good food. At the top of my list was dry chicken wings. No, not dry like ‘ewww, this meat is dry’. Dry as in the wings aren’t tossed in sauce after being cooked. Instead they are dusted with seasoning. The end result is almost like roasted chicken, but with much more pronounced flavors. Now that we are back home, I had to make some of the favorites that I devoured in Pittsburgh, like these Old Bay wings, which are just flat-out incredible.

Old Bay Wings

My Old-Bay Addiction Just Got Worse

It’s really hard to beat crispy chicken wings that have the great crab-boil flavor of Old Bay seasoning. I ate these wings like I hadn’t had anything to eat in weeks. They disappeared so fast your head would spin. They are fantastic.

I went with Ranch dressing for the dipping sauce for these Old Bay seasoning wings, but seriously, you can eat them dry, as-is, with no sauce. There’s no need to drown them in sauce, the flavor stands on its own.

Pepper Palace Watermelon Barbecue Sauce Wings

This is why you always have to hit up the sampling bar when you go to a Pepper Palace store. I’ve been to tons of their stores, and I always spend a good bit of time sampling. That’s where I ran across this barbecue sauce. Yes, barbecue. Of course I thought ‘wings’. Because I knew that Pepper Palace watermelon barbecue sauce wings would be different and fantastic. Fantastically different.

Pepper Palace Watermelon Barbecue Wings

Watermelon And Wings. It Works.

Pepper Palace watermelon barbecue sauce wings have just the right amount of watermelon flavor. Oh sure, you get a traditional BBQ sauce flavor too, and it’s balanced perfectly with the watermelon. These wings are a totally different change from your usual Buffalo-inspired wings.

Of course, this sauce is also fantastic on anything grilled, from ribs to pulled pork to whole roasted chicken.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of sauce, let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Kinder’s Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce Wings

Ahhhhh. There’s just something so satisfying about the combination of roasted garlic and Parmesan. Put the two in a creamy sauce and you’ve got the perfect topping for perfectly-cooked, crispy wings. Kinder’s Garlic Parmesan wing sauce wings hit the spot and are a great change from classic Buffalo wing flavors.

Kinder's Garlic Parmesan Wings

The Perfect Balance

Kinder’s Garlic Parmesan wing sauce goes on thick, but it kinda ‘melts’ when it hits hot wings. The flavors get everywhere, in every bite. It’s not gloppy or too thick, not at all. Take a gander at the wings in the picture above. Man, were they ever delicious! This isn’t a salad dressing. It’s a wing sauce!

Kinder’s Roasted Garlic BBQ Sauce Wings

Oh my goodness. Now, I’ve had my share of BBQ sauces. I’ve made my share of them too. And I love them on everything from smoked ribs to grilled burgers to yep, wings. These Kinder’s Roasted Garlic BBQ sauce wings are crazy good. This sauce is easily one of the best I’ve ever had. It has just the right amount of garlic flavor. A hint of sweetness but it’s not cloyingly sweet. It’s got the perfect thickness to stick to wings but it’s not gloppy. I cannot get enough of this sauce on wings and I cannot wait to try it on all things grilled, too!

Kinder’s Roasted Garlic BBQ Wings

Not Too Garlicky and Not Too Sweet

Kinder’s Roasted Garlic BBQ sauce wings are a great wing to serve when you want to make everyone super happy at your next party. Sure, put out a good-sized platter of traditional Buffalo wings. You have to. But next to it put a big batch of these BBQ-sauced wings. Then sit back and watch them disappear. This is a great sauce.

Kinder’s Honey BBQ Sauce Wings

Ahhhhh. Perfect. This is what a barbecue sauce is meant for. Wings. Oh yeah, I know, you put it on pulled pork, grilled chicken legs, ribs and even burgers. But on wings…. yum! Kinder’s honey BBQ sauce wings hit the spot and then some for me. The sauce is a nice traditional tomato-based sauce. It has a hint of smokiness, but just a hint. It has a nice sweetness, but not too much. It’s not candy, just a great BBQ sauce that loves to be tossed onto some hot-out-of-the-cooker wings.

Kinder's Honey BBQ Wings

Perfect Sweet BBQ Flavor

You can serve Kinder’s Honey BBQ sauce wings at a party and not worry about anyone complaining about the heat. If you’re seeking out a bit of spiciness, though, Kinder’s makes a spicy version of this BBQ sauce too. So, cover all of your bases and serve them both! Now you know that everyone will be happy!

Kinder’s Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

Ya know, a good Buffalo wing sauce doesn’t have to be scorching hot to be good. In fact, I’d argue that an over-the-top hot wing sauce isn’t necessarily good, especially if you cannot taste the ingredients in the sauce. Kinder’s Buffalo wing sauce brings fantastic classic flavors. Plenty of garlic. Buttery goodness. And a wonderful mix of tasty spices. And importantly, just the right amount of vinegar. This is a great, mellow, delicious sauce that is perfect on wings.

Kinder's Buffalo Wings

A Great Sauce For A Crowd

Kinder’s Buffalo wing sauce is the kind of sauce you can easily serve at a party and not worry about anyone screaming that they can’t stand the heat. This sauce is more about great flavor than heat. If you’ve got guests that want heat, serve it to them, but save this sauce for those wanting to just enjoy fantastic wings without the burn.

This sauce is also fantastic served in little serving cups, ready for dipping your favorite chicken nuggets.
