Wahlburgers Wahl Sauce Wings

Yep, I made Wahlburgers Wahl sauce wings. I grabbed a bottle of Wahlburgers Wahl sauce on a whim. Of course, I used it on burgers first and wow, it was good. It didn’t take me long to think about putting it on wings. This sauce is a lightly ketchupy, mayonnaise sauce with the slight hint of spiciness. It’s a great all-round sauce, for anything from burgers to wings to fries, but for me, it’s a real winner on wings.

Wahlburgers Wahl Sauce Wings

A Hint Of Heat In A Creamy Good Sauce

This is not my first time devouring wings covered in a creamy sauce containing mayonnaise. My Alabama white sauce wings are crazy good. It might seem odd to have mayonnaise on wings, but trust me, it’s good. Wahlburger Wahl sauce has other yummy stuff in it besides mayonnaise. It has a great flavor, and doesn’t overpower anyone with spiciness.

Also try my Peri-Peri wings.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Cajun Power Garlic Sauce Wings

I’ve been a huge fan of Cajun Power Garlic Sauce for years. I seriously don’t know why I waited so long to use it as both a chicken wing marinade and sauce. I loved these Cajun Power Garlic Sauce wings. Seasoned perfectly. A little garlicky. Nice and rich and super yummy.

Cajun Power Garlic Sauce Wings

More Sauce is More Better

I loved these Cajun Power Garlic Sauce wings. But guess what? Cajun Power also makes Cajun Power Spicy Garlic Sauce. Perfect for your friends (like me) that prefer their wings nice and hot! It’s not crazy spicy, but it packs a nice heat.

You can’t put enough Cajun Power Garlic Sauce on your cooked wings. I’ve tried and it’s not possible. It’s also great for dipping wings instead of your usual cooling dips like blue cheese or ranch dressing.

If you like some extra sauce on the side for dipping your wings, these little cups are the perfect size.

Also try my chili garlic wings. They’re delicious too!

Buffalo Wild Wings Desert Heat Dry Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings Desert Heat wing seasoning makes for some of the best dry wings you’ve ever had. Sure, you can use it as a seasoning on wet wings too. I’m such a fan of dry wings that that’s how I prefer it. Time and time again. A little (ok, a good bit of) spiciness combines with a wonderful smokiness that makes these wings fantastic.

Buffalo Wild Wings Desert Heat Dry Wings

More is Better

I season my Buffalo Wild Wings Desert Heat Dry Wings before I cook them and after they’re done. If I’m deep frying the wings I’ll mix the seasoning in with the flour (or whatever coating I’m using) mixture first. I am pretty heavy-handed with the seasoning before and after the wings are cooked. I really like this stuff.

Make sure you seal your wing seasonings well after using. You don’t want any moisture sneaking in. This dust comes in shaker bottles that seal perfectly!

Also try Buffalo Wild Wings Buffalo dry wings. Great Buffalo flavor in a dry wing!

BBQ Ranch Wings

I have been enjoying the heck out of the flavors of wing sauces I picked up from Alliger’s House of Wings. Each and every one has been fantastic. Another cool thing about House of Wings is that on their website they have recipes for using their sauces and a few other simple ingredients to create all-new flavors. Like these BBQ Ranch wings. They’re crazy easy and crazy delicious. There’s nothing fancy going on here, just a great wing sauce. The kind you cannot stop eating.

BBQ Ranch Wings

The Perfect Taste Combination

These BBQ Ranch wings have just the right amount of Buffalo wing flavor, with a hint of barbecue sauce. The Ranch dressing adds a nice creaminess and coolness to the wings. This is a great way to serve wings at a party. No need for that bowl of Ranch for dipping your wings. They’ve already been dipped for you!

I store my leftover homemade sauces in squeeze bottles. If refrigerated, I set them out an hour before using so they come to room temperature. You don’t want to put cold sauce on hot wings!

Kosmos Q Honey Habanero Wing Sauce Wings

I’ve certainly been as happy as a bulldog with a pork chop with all of Kosmos Q wing sauces and dusts. Some are great twists on classic flavors, others totally new and different. The Kosmos Q Honey Habanero wing sauce is somewhere in the middle of classic and different for me. It’s got your classic sweet-and-heat combination. And it’s got something different. So different I scratched my head for a good 10 minutes trying to figure it out when I gave up and read the ingredients on the label and there it was: raspberries.

Kosmos Q Honey Habanero Wings

Heat. More Heat. And Some Sweet.

Kosmos Q Honey Habanero wing sauce definitely brings the habanero heat. Sometimes you get a bottle of ‘spicy’ wing sauce only to be disappointed at the lack of spiciness. Not this time. Nope. But it tastes good to boot, so it’s a nice heat and not just heat. I would not call it overly sweet by any stretch. Just nicely sweet.

Meijer Sweet Chili Wing Sauce Wings

“Blown away” were the first words that crossed my mind when I took my first bite of chicken wings (cooked using a Vortex) tossed in Meijer’s Sweet Chili wing sauce. With no artificial flavors, I found the sauce to be nothing but pure goodness.

The sauce has a nice heat level, not too much and not too little. A little sweetness and the perfect consistency. Not too gloppy, but perfect for sticking to wings and your fingers. Better than many top shelf wing sauces and a whole lot cheaper.

Meijer Sweet Chili Wings

My Wife Likes It. That Says A Lot.

My wife’s favorite eat-out wings are the Thai’R Cracker wings from Quaker Steak and Lube. She said that the Meijer sweet chili wing sauce is at least as good and maybe a bit better. That’s saying a lot.

Also try some Meijer bourbon honey mustard wing sauce wings. Trust me, they’re great too!

Kinder’s Fire Roasted Jalapeno Wing Sauce Wings

There for a minute I thought I was eating smoked chicken wings. I double checked, and nope, my air fryer wasn’t belching smoke… Ah ha! The great smoky flavor was coming from these Kinder’s Fire Roasted Jalapeno wing sauce wings! Man, what a great sauce this is! I love roasted peppers, especially jalapeno. A little spicy heat and a little smoke is great on wings. There’s a slight hint of garlic and lime. These made me think ‘southwestern’ when I devoured them. And it made me think ‘buy more of this sauce’.

Kinder's Fire Roasted Jalapeno Wings

Crazy Good Bite After Bite

Kinder’s Fire Roasted Jalapeno wing sauce wings are definitely finger-licking good. You don’t have to go crazy with the sauce, either. It packs great flavor in just a little. Which means you’ll have plenty of sauce for other dishes, like squeezing over burritos, tacos… or dipping nuggets. It’s also great on a grilled chicken sandwich. Anything that needs a little heat (not too much) and southwestern-inspired flavors, grab this sauce and get to it!

Hoosier Daddy Sweet and Sassy BBQ Sauce Wings

There are three places I always go when I go to the grocery store. Of course, the wing sauce section. Then there’s the seasoning section (in case I find a new wing seasoning or something that might go good on dry wings). And the BBQ sauce section. I need BBQ sauce, but not just for my ribs or burgers or whatever. Nope, for my wings. Like these Hoosier Daddy Sweet and Sassy BBQ sauce wings. Just cook up a batch of wings and toss them in sauce. Or brush it on. Or serve it on the side for dipping. However you do it, BBQ sauce is great on wings!

Hoosier Daddy Sweet and Sassy BBQ Wings

Great BBQ Sauces Make Great Wings

This sauce is perfect. Hoosier Daddy Sweet and Sassy BBQ sauce wings have just the right amount of sweetness to them. And just a kiss of heat. Not too much of either, just the right amounts. There’s a bit of a smokiness, too. This sauce is a wonderful concoction, with everything from ketchup to mustard to peach. Yes, peach. Not to say it’s “peachy”, no. But oh, what a wonderful addition it is. Clever, I’d even say!

Rick’s Coffee Burn Dry Wings

I was a bit skeptical about a coffee and chicken. Sure, coffee often finds its way into my beef rubs or sauces, but it’s not something I thought would work so well with chicken wings. Rick’s coffee burn dry wings have so many great flavors it’s impossible to point to just one that makes them taste so great. You taste the coffee, the bouillon, garlic, onion… all of it. And there’s no lack of heat, either. Chipotle powder and jalapeno powder both pack a punch, but like everything else in the rub, they don’t drown out the other flavors.

Rick's Coffee Burn Dry Wings

Dry Wings Are Always A Win

I’m a huge fan of dry rubbed wings. Sauced wings are fantastic too. But you have to be careful that the sauce doesn’t become the only star of the show. You don’t want to hide the seasoning and the chicken. Rick’s coffee burn dry wings let me taste of all of the spices, and still I taste chicken. If you can’t taste the chicken, what’s the point?

I like to make my spice, rub and seasoning mixes in big batches and keep them in large bottles with easy-to-pour shaker lids.

Perdue Hot ‘N Spicy Crispy Air Fryer Wings

Perdue Hot ‘N Spicy Crispy Air Fryer wings really made me happy. I’m not usually impressed with frozen, prepared wings. They’re usually scrawny and tasteless. Not these. Not even close. These wings are definitely hot and spicy. They have a delicious, crunchy batter. They cook up in no time in an air fryer (you can also prepare them in the oven). The aroma as they cook is dream-worthy. And perhaps best of all, they are not scrawny! Nope, these are meaty, tender, juicy, tasty, crunchy wings! Score!

I was wrong, and I’m sorry

I didn’t have high expectations for these wings and I was wrong about them. If you like battered wings and are in a hurry, you can’t beat them. Eat them straight out of the air fryer, or do as I did and dunk them in a little Buffalo wing sauce and Ranch dressing. Whatever works for you!

Perdue Hot 'N Spicy Crispy Air Fryer Wings

Cook time

The packaging for Perdue Hot ‘N Spicy Crispy Air Fryer Wings says to cook them at 400 F for 16 minutes. Maybe it’s just my air fryer (which is a 1700 watt model), but I found that 14 minutes is better. The wings may not seem crunchy after the shorter time, but they do get crunchier as they cool a little. I thought they came out great. Any longer and they start to get a little dark. Not burned, just dark.

Perdue makes roasted and a lemon pepper versions of these wings. Try them. You’ll love them too and they’re great for your fear-the-heat friends!
