Kosmos Q Buffalo Dry Wings

I’m a big fan of dry wings. It’s easy to be one, too, with flavors like those in these Kosmos Q Buffalo dry wings. I just cook up a batch of wings and toss them in the seasoning. That’s it. There’s nothing fancy going on here. Just good, traditional Buffalo wing flavor all in a powder (which I’m quite generous with, I do admit!). How cool and awesome is that? If you’ve never had dry wings you are really missing out. Since I discovered them I find myself ordering or making them at least half of the time I have wings.

Kosmos Q Buffalo Dry Wings

Fantastic Dry Wings With Just A Little Kick

Kosmo’s Q Buffalo dry wing dust has just the right amount of spiciness to it. It’s not crazy hot and it’s not crazy tame. Somewhere in-between. You gotta know you’re having Buffalo-inspired wings, right? Well, that’s what you get and then some!

Make sure you seal your wing seasonings well after using. You don’t want any moisture sneaking in. Kosmos Q comes in quality pouches that seal perfectly!

Now, I can’t say I’ve tried it, but I’ve read where a lot of people love this sauce on more than wings. Gasp! What? You put a wing sauce on something other than wings??? ! Ok, well, if that’s your thing… go for it. Try it on pizza. Or ice cream. I don’t care. I use mine on wings.

Frank’s RedHot Buffalo ‘N BBQ Thick Sauce Wings

After completely destroying a batch of wings covered in Frank’s RedHot Original Thick Hot Sauce the other day (in absolutely no time at all I might add) I rushed to grab another bottle in the line of thick wing sauces. This time I tried Frank’s RedHot Buffalo ‘N BBQ Thick Sauce wings and man, was I ever blown away.

Great expectations

After the original sauce my expectations were high, perhaps too high, I thought. But oh no, this sauce blew me away and then some. Just the right mix of traditional Buffalo wing flavor and BBQ (with just a bit of smokiness). And thick. But not too thick. I was very happy with this sauce. I see why everyone puts this sh#t on everything!

It’s The Bomb

Frank’s RedHot Original Thick Hot Sauce wings sauce isn’t just for wings. This sauce would be fantastic on grilled chicken. It would make for the world’s best chicken nugget dipping sauce. And it would be stellar on a grilled chicken sandwich. This stuff is the bomb. Get some.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

McCormick Grill Mates Nashville Hot Chicken Dry Wings

About half the wings I make and eat are ‘dry’. Just cooked up (often in an air fryer) and then tossed in a seasoning. Sometimes a lot of seasoning. Sometimes not so much. No sauce in sight. But they are always good. Like these McCormick Grill Mates Nashville Hot Chicken dry wings. This seasoning is the perfect blend of chili pepper, paprika, brown sugar, onion and garlic. It has a nice kick to it. It’s not mellow but it’s not overpowering either. The flavor is fantastic, and certainly reminiscent of the namesake chicken. These are great dry wings.

Great Flavor And Kick In A Dry Wing

I’m not shy with the seasoning when I make my McCormick Grill Mates Nashville Hot Chicken wings. Well, at least not when I make them for myself. I like a good bit of heat in every bite. I’d go a bit lighter on it if I was serving them to friends or family, specially if they say they like a little kick but not a painful amount.

June Moon Alabama White Sauce Wings

I’ve had a few store-bought Alabama white sauces. And I’ve made a few variations from scratch. Needless to say, I’m a fan of the concept. June Moon Alabama white sauce wings are another example of two great things that were meant for each other: a creamy, mayonnaise-based sauce that is nice and tangy, and chicken wings. Oh and it does have a slight spiciness to it too. But not too much.

June Moon Alabama White Sauce Wings

The Perfect Balance

June Moon Alabama white sauce wings aren’t too mayonnaise-y. Or vinegary. Speaking from experience, there’s nothing more disappointing that getting all excited about wings only to have a sauce that is watery or too vinegary. Not a worry with this sauce. I found the balance to be perfectly finger-licking good.

This is also a great sauce for dipping pretzels.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Frank’s RedHot Buffalo ‘N Ranch Thick Sauce Wings

The fine folks over at Frank’s RedHot sauce have upped their wing sauce game. And then some. They took some of their traditional flavors and made them thicker. Not ewwwy thick, but ooooh thick. Perfect on wings and lots of other things, like nuggets, chicken sandwiches, burgers you name it. Frank’s RedHot Buffalo ‘N Ranch Thick Sauce wings sauce combines a low-heat Buffalo sauce with, you guessed it, Ranch dressing. This sauce isn’t going to scare grandma off with heat. In fact, she’ll love it. And hey, she’ll get to eat wings faster since you don’t have to dip them in Ranch dressing first!

Frank’s RedHot Spicy Honey Bourbon Thick Sauce Wings

If you’re looking for a thick wing sauce that brings a good bit of sweet and just a bit of heat, the fine folks over at Frank’s RedHot sauce have a sauce for you. Frank’s RedHot Spicy Honey Bourbon Thick Sauce Wings sauce (whew!) does pack so much heat that it’ll scare anyone off. It is on the sweet side, but that touch of spiciness helps tame that just right.

Frank's RedHot Spicy Honey Bourbon Thick Sauce Wings

Different. In A Good Way.

Frank’s RedHot Spicy Honey Bourbon Thick Sauce Wings to be a bit different, something new. It has a little bit of a molasses flavor to it (I didn’t get that big bourbon hit, but perhaps the hint of bourbon barrels!). And it has a bit of a BBQ sauce-ness to it. Still, it’s complex and good, and it definitely sticks to wings for sure!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Tyson Lemon Pepper Crispy Wings

I wanted some lemon pepper wings. But sadly, I didn’t have any fresh wings on hand. So off to our local grocery store I went. And they didn’t have any fresh wings either. Sadness began to creep in when it dawned on me that Tyson makes lemon pepper crispy wings! So off to the frozen section I went, and there they were! Boom! Time to rush home and make some rather delicious, easy, crunchy lemon peppery wings!

Tyson Lemon Pepper Crispy Wings

Crunchy Battered Yumminess

Tyson lemon pepper crispy wings come as a variety of wing pieces that are seasoned and battered. Some pieces are bigger than others. You toss them into the air fryer and in no time you have hot and crispy wings. They’re fairly mildly seasoned. I’d call it a nice middle-of-the-road flavor. Not too overwhelming. So I grabbed a bottle of lemon pepper seasoning and ’embellished’ the wings after they came out of the air fryer. Then they were perfect.

The bag says there are 4.5 servings inside. Nope. Not for me. More like 2! So if you’re grabbing some for the gang to come over and watch the big game, grab extra bags. Lots of extra bags.

  • Sprinkle or toss wings in seasoning, if using, and serve.

For the oven

Kinder’s Woodfired Garlic Dry Wings

My oh me oh goodness. It’s hard to put into words how much I loved these Kinder’s Woodfired garlic dry wings. The seasoning is just perfect. It helps that I’m a total garlic addict. But this isn’t any ordinary garlic flavor, nope. It’s garlic that has been roasted over a fire. Who does that? Great people do that! And they put it in a shaker bottle so I can have the best dry wings ever!

Kinder's Woodfired Garlic Dry Wings

Crazy Fantastically Good And A Big Favorite Of Mine.

I went big when I seasoned my wings. Kinder’s Woodfired garlic wings can handle lots of seasoning. The flavor is so good I can’t get enough. Up next, I’m sprinkling some on a whole roasted chicken. This stuff is going to replace my traditional rotisserie chicken for sure. I love it (in case you couldn’t tell)!

Kinder’s Lemon Pepper Dry Wings

I admit, there was a time when lemon pepper and I were not pals. Seemed like every time I picked up a bottle of seasoning it was either too lemony or too peppery. There was no good balance for me. Well that all changed with Kinder’s lemon pepper dry wings. You know it’s good if I use it for dry wings. There’s no hiding with dry wings. You gotta bring flavor. You’re not going to hide behind a sauce. You have to bring it. And this seasoning brings it with that perfect balance, bite after bite.

Kinder's Lemon Pepper Dry Wings

I Make These Wings Often. Not Often Enough, Though

I keep my dry wings simple. That’s what dry wings are supposed to be. I usually cook them in my air fryer. Then I hit them with the seasoning. And lots of it. And I let it rest for a few minutes. Then I get to eatin’! Kinder’s lemon pepper dry wings are the perfect snack or lunch. Nice clean flavor, and great wings!
