Buffalo Wild Wings Desert Heat Dry Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings Desert Heat wing seasoning makes for some of the best dry wings you’ve ever had. Sure, you can use it as a seasoning on wet wings too. I’m such a fan of dry wings that that’s how I prefer it. Time and time again. A little (ok, a good bit of) spiciness combines with a wonderful smokiness that makes these wings fantastic.

Buffalo Wild Wings Desert Heat Dry Wings

More is Better

I season my Buffalo Wild Wings Desert Heat Dry Wings before I cook them and after they’re done. If I’m deep frying the wings I’ll mix the seasoning in with the flour (or whatever coating I’m using) mixture first. I am pretty heavy-handed with the seasoning before and after the wings are cooked. I really like this stuff.

Make sure you seal your wing seasonings well after using. You don’t want any moisture sneaking in. This dust comes in shaker bottles that seal perfectly!

Also try Buffalo Wild Wings Buffalo dry wings. Great Buffalo flavor in a dry wing!

I prefer to season my wings immediately after cooking them. The seasoning will stick to the surface of the hot wings better than if you wait until they cool off.

Buffalo Wild Wings Caribbean Jerk Wings

Sometimes the spices in Caribbean Jerk sauce can be a bit overwhelming, for me at least. I’ve been lucky a few times and run across the perfectly-balance Jerk sauce, but often, not. The Buffalo Wild Wings Sauce Caribbean Jerk wing sauce is perfect for me. Not too spicy, but still packing that great island flavor. I taste the traditional spices, like nutmeg and allspice, and clove, but none are so strong as to ‘get to me’. That’s why I love this sauce!

Welcome to Island Flavors

In case you’re wondering… heck yes Buffalo Wild Wings Sauce Caribbean Jerk wing sauce is great on grilled chicken and ribs too! I mean, like crazy good! Just brush it on a few minutes before taking the meat off the grill or smoker and you’ll be tasting island yumminess before long!

Buffalo Wild Wings Asian Zing Wing Sauce Wings

If you like the Quaker Steak and Lube Thai R Cracker wings sauce (it’s my wife’s favorite, by far) you’re going to love Buffalo Wild Wings Asian Zing wing sauce. It’s similar in taste and consistency, but a bit spicier. Actually it’s a good bit spicier. Lightly sweet, it’s finger-licking good and one of my favorite BW3 sauces.

Buffalo Wild Wings Asian Zing Wings

The Perfect Asian-Inspired Sauce

I’ve been known to use this sauce on much more than wings. I love it as a dipping sauce for homemade pork or chicken egg rolls. And it totally rocks for dunking chicken nuggets.

If you have leftover sauce, of course keep it in the fridge. But, when it comes time to make a batch of wings and sauce them up, make sure to set the sauce out for at least 30 minutes before using it. Nothing makes a batch of hot wings sadder than a cold sauce!

BBQ Ranch Wings

I have been enjoying the heck out of the flavors of wing sauces I picked up from Alliger’s House of Wings. Each and every one has been fantastic. Another cool thing about House of Wings is that on their website they have recipes for using their sauces and a few other simple ingredients to create all-new flavors. Like these BBQ Ranch wings. They’re crazy easy and crazy delicious. There’s nothing fancy going on here, just a great wing sauce. The kind you cannot stop eating.

BBQ Ranch Wings

The Perfect Taste Combination

These BBQ Ranch wings have just the right amount of Buffalo wing flavor, with a hint of barbecue sauce. The Ranch dressing adds a nice creaminess and coolness to the wings. This is a great way to serve wings at a party. No need for that bowl of Ranch for dipping your wings. They’ve already been dipped for you!

I store my leftover homemade sauces in squeeze bottles. If refrigerated, I set them out an hour before using so they come to room temperature. You don’t want to put cold sauce on hot wings!

Kosmos Q Honey Habanero Wing Sauce Wings

I’ve certainly been as happy as a bulldog with a pork chop with all of Kosmos Q wing sauces and dusts. Some are great twists on classic flavors, others totally new and different. The Kosmos Q Honey Habanero wing sauce is somewhere in the middle of classic and different for me. It’s got your classic sweet-and-heat combination. And it’s got something different. So different I scratched my head for a good 10 minutes trying to figure it out when I gave up and read the ingredients on the label and there it was: raspberries.

Kosmos Q Honey Habanero Wings

Heat. More Heat. And Some Sweet.

Kosmos Q Honey Habanero wing sauce definitely brings the habanero heat. Sometimes you get a bottle of ‘spicy’ wing sauce only to be disappointed at the lack of spiciness. Not this time. Nope. But it tastes good to boot, so it’s a nice heat and not just heat. I would not call it overly sweet by any stretch. Just nicely sweet.

Wing It Sweet ‘N Tangy Wing Sauce Wings

It’s not unusual for me to open some wing sauce, make a batch or two of wings with it, and put the half-full bottle back into the fridge for wings for some later day. Well, I made some Wing It Sweet ‘N Tangy wing sauce wings and let me tell you, the bottle is getting finished before I move on. This sauce is so dang good no way do I want it sitting around. It’d be rude. Sweet thanks to molasses, tangy thanks to mustard and vinegary, this sauce seems BBQ-like but with so many twists and turns that it’s definitely different and outrageously good. This is easily one of my favorite sauces of any kind.

Wing It Sweet 'N Tangy Wings

So Many Flavors In Every Bite

These Wing It Sweet ‘N Tangy wing sauce wings had a slight hint of heat to them. Not much. And a little Asian-inspiration from soy sauce. Yep, all sorts of things went into this sauce and they all work together perfectly. I so regret not ordering more of this sauce because it will be fantastic on roasted chicken and smoked ribs. Well, time to remedy that and order some more!

Sweet Baby Ray’s Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

I’ve been using Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce for years. It’s a great sauce as-is, but it also makes for a good starter for making my own BBQ sauce. But until now I’d never tried their Buffalo wing sauce. For some reason, I needed a coupon to get me off my butt and to the grocery store to pick up a bottle. Well, boy am I sorry for having waited so long to try it. This sauce makes for the perfect Buffalo wings. It is exactly what I was looking for when I made a quick batch of air fryer wings for lunch the other day. The right consistency, the right amount of spice, it’s spot-on good.

Sweet Baby Ray's Buffalo Wings

It’s Got A Good Kick.

I’ve read a few reviews of Sweet Baby Ray’s Buffalo wing sauce that say it’s too spicy. Well, yeah, each of us has a different definition of what’s spicy, but I definitely found this to be just right. It has a bit of kick. Hey, it’s a Buffalo wing sauce. It contains cayenne pepper. It’s gonna have some heat. But for me, it’s definitely not over the top.

Don’t wait around for a coupon to pick up a bottle of this sauce. Learn from my mistakes!

Plucker’s Vampire Killer Wing Sauce Wings

True enough, after even the first batch of Plucker’s Vampire Killer wing sauce wings we no longer had vampires in our home. A little honey and molasses sweetness. A little spicy cayenne. And a WHOLE lot of garlic. You won’t be huntin’ around for the garlic in this wonderful wing sauce. It comes right at you. But it’s not so much that you get a garlic burn. It’s smooooooth and tasty and one of the best wing sauces you can find. So if you love garlic like I do, grab yourself a bottle or two and get to making some wings!

Plucker's Vampire Killer Wings

Garlic. Glorious Garlic. And Lots Of It.

Plucker’s Vampire Killer wing sauce has just the right consistency for wings. Not too thick and not too thin. Like all of Plucker’s wing sauces, which I’ve been enjoying immensely. You don’t want to pass on this sauce if you even remotely like garlic with a little heat and a whole lot of flavor.

Plucker’s Sesame Wing Sauce Wings

The fine folks at Plucker’s have done it to me again. They went and made yet another dream-worthy wing sauce that I just cannot get enough of: Plucker’s Sesame wing sauce. This time it’s an Asian-inspired sauce with a hint of teriyaki and sesame oil. Neither flavor is overwhelming, but balanced perfectly. Sesame oil can definitely be too strong for me, but this sauce nailed it perfectly. This is one of the best wing sauces I’ve had. There’s no way I can tell you how good this sauce is without crying tears of happiness. Just the memory of these wings makes my day.

Plucker's Sesame Wings

Asian-Inspired Deliciousness

Plucker’s Sesame wing sauce is just the right thickness, too. No pools of sauce at the bottom of the plate here. Come to think of it, no sauce on my fingers either. Ok, that’s because I licked them.

This would also make for a fantastic dipping sauce for nuggets. Or slather it on a grilled or smoked rack of ribs for a fantastic Asian-inspired dinner.

Plucker’s Spicy BBQ Wing Sauce Wings

Santa asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I’d been especially good all year (cough), so I could ask for anything. New grill? Nope. AirPods? Nah. Eighteen different bottles of wing sauce from Plucker’s, a wing restaurant based out of Austin, Texas? HECK YEAH! And the first one I tried? The Spicy BBQ sauce.

This is what a wing sauce should be. A little heat (2 flames out of 5 on the Plucker’s heat scale). A wonderful BBQ flavor. Sometimes BBQ wing sauces are a bit too BBQ-y for me. Nothing wrong with putting straight up BBQ sauce on wings, but if you’re going to label it as a BBQ wing sauce it has to be more. And this sauce is more. Not too thick, not too thin, it’s a great sauce with a great BBQ flavor that isn’t overwhelming.

Plucker's Spicy BBQ Wings

This Is One Great Sauce

If Plucker’s Spicy BBQ wing sauce is any indication of how great the other 17 sauces are that I bought, Santa was very, very good to me indeed!

This sauce will be great on a grilled chicken sandwich, too. Or as a dipping sauce for nuggets. Or just slathered on a big ole rack of smoked ribs. But, boy is it ever fantastic on wings. No doubt, if I’m ever anywhere near a Plucker’s location, I’m heading in!
