Schnucks Medium Buffalo Wing Sauce Wings

We recently took a few days off and drove from Indiana into Illinois. Our trip was centered around hitting a few antique malls around Bloomington, IL. But, as luck would have it, our hotel was right by a Schnucks a regional grocery store. I knew exactly that that meant: regional grocery store wing sauces! Woo hoo! The last day of our trip we stopped by the store at around 7am. We were the only ones there. I grabbed a bottle of each and every wing sauce they had. The checkout lady must’ve thought I was nuts. When we got home, I got to making wings. And boy, what a great time it was too! My Schnucks medium Buffalo wing sauce wings hit the spot. What a great sauce! And at a great price, too!

What It’s About

There’s nothing fancy going on with these Schnucks Medium Buffalo wing sauce wings. I made a batch of wings. I tossed them in the sauce. Then, I enjoyed the heck out of them. Great spice level for starters. Not too hot, by any stretch. Just a little heat in the background. Great Buffalo-inspired flavors. Not overly vinegar-y either.

I love buying regional wing sauces. Grocery stores, bars, restaurants. Doesn’t matter where they come from. I rarely have encountered one I didn’t love. Schnuck’s sauces are no exception. Grab yourself some. You’ll be happy you did!

Also heat-up and try some hot Schnucks Buffalo wing sauce wings!

Schnucks Hatch Pepper Wing Sauce Wings

We stopped at a Schnucks grocery store on a recent trip to Illinois. I’d never been to a Schnucks. And boy oh boy did I ever hit the wing sauce jackpot there! Schnucks has their own brand of bottled sauces. All sorts of flavors. I grabbed one of each and when I got home I got to making some wings (and saucing them!). Sadly, there is an end to my journey and it came today when I made some Schnucks Hatch Pepper wing sauce wings. The last bottle of sauce in my pantry. And definitely one of the best!

Crazy Delicious

I might have been living under a rock, but it wasn’t until a few years ago that I was introduced to hatch peppers. I loved them at first bite. So much so that I ordered a case of them! They are so flavorful. Without a tremendous amount of heat. It’s that delicate balance that I really enjoy. And that’s why I loved these Schnucks Hatch Pepper Wing Sauce wings so much. The right amount of hatch pepper flavor. A little heat (but not too much). All in a sauce with the right consistency. This is a delicious sauce and a great way to end (for now) my trip thru the fine wing sauces from Schnucks.

I love it when I’m blown away by a bottled wing sauce. Specially if it was the ‘right price’. Great heat. The right consistency. Just flat-out good stuff. I’d make wings with this sauce any day, any time.

Schnucks Honey BBQ Wing Sauce Wings

Whenever I take a road trip I make it a point to stop at any local or regional grocery stores and check out the wing sauce section. Besides the national brands I can find pretty much anywhere I also come across some great brands I can only find on the road. Like Schnucks. I was in Bloomington IL for a few days. My hotel was right next door to a Schnucks. If that’s not a sign I don’t know what is. I grabbed a bottle of each of their own brand of sauces. Lots of them. I was grinning like a kid in a candy store. One of the first wings I made when I got home was these Schnucks Honey BBQ wing sauce wings. These were some mighty fine wings. The sauce was lightly sweet with a hint of smokiness. Not overwhelming, but spot-on good. And boy, I sure couldn’t beat the price of the sauce either!

Schnucks Spicy Garlic Wing Sauce Wings

We drove to Bloomington, IL for a few days and went over to Bloomington, IL to do a little antiquing. Our hotel was next door to a grocery store, a regional chain named Schnucks. This of course meant I had to go on a wing sauce hunt. Did I make out like a bandit! Schnuck’s has a big selection of its own brand of wing sauces. I grabbed a bottle of each one. The lady at the checkout didn’t even blink an eye at my conveyor belt full of sauces rolling slowly towards her. When we got home I made a batch of easy air fryer wings and sauced them up. I loved these Schnucks Spicy Garlic wing sauce wings!

Schnucks Spicy Garlic Wing Sauce Wings

Nice Flavor. Great Heat.

These Schnucks Spicy Garlic wing sauce wings hit the spot. They aren’t super spicy but they do make you sit up and notice. And they do have a nice garlic hit, too. Enough to make you notice that too. I was more than happy with the flavor. And I’ll tell you, you can’t beat the price either. Next time we’re anywhere near a Schnucks I’m stopping by and grabbing some more of this sauce and all their others!

Schnucks also makes a delicious honey BBQ wing sauce!
