It says it right there on the label of Buffalo Wild Wings Lemon Pepper Wings sauce: “with Bright Citrus”. What does that mean, you might ask? It means when you take that first bite of wings tossed in the sauce you’ll get a big ole hit of lemon citrus. There’s no missing it. No mistaking it. It’s citrus and it’s citrus big time. Oh, there’s pepper too, but the citrus is up front and jumps out first. I found this to be a different, tasty sauce. And somewhat unexpected.
Delightfully Citrusy
You won’t confuse Buffalo Wild Wings Lemon Pepper Wings sauce with their wing seasoning that I use to make tremendous dry wings. The citrus flavor really distinguishes it from anything else I’ve tried. I can see it being excellent on grilled chicken breasts or fish, and as a marinade for either.
Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.
Also try Buffalo Wild Wings salt and vinegar wings.
