My wife isn’t a fan of curry seasoning. That’s why I made these brown sugar curry wings for my lunch while she was at work. Score for me, because I loved the combination of sweetness and the curry. These wings need no sauce.
I went ahead and made a big batch of the spice mix in anticipation of making these wings a few days in a row. It’s a good thing that I did because I did end up having them a few times in one week. Don’t judge me.

Deliciously Different
What would I change about these brown sugar curry wings? Yeah, nothing. Ok, maybe I’d add a bit more curry. That’s it. No sauce required, so brine, no nothing. Just cook up some wings (I deep fried mine) and sprinkle with the mix. Then devour.
You don’t need fancy expensive curry powder to make these wings.- One 3 ounce bottle of Curry Powder
- Store in a cool, dry place
What Are You Waiting For?
Go make some wings! It’s not that hard to do! My go-to method is to air-fry them. A little seasoning first. Air-fried to perfection. Fantastic aroma as they cook. Crispy skin. Juicy meat. Tender. Ready for a sauce. Air-fried wings can hold up to being tossed with sauce, so that’s what I do. If they were deep-fried with a batter I wouldn’t abuse them like that. I’d gently brush the sauce on. Or serve it on the side, for dipping.

My Trusty Wingman
My air fryer isn’t fancy. It doesn’t have any bells and whistles. Well, ok, it does have a bell when the timer goes off but that’s it. I don’t even use the timer actually. I use a timer on my phone that has two countdowns: one for 12 minutes and one for 6 minutes. That’s all I ever need to get perfect wings each and every time!
