I’m not sure what happened, to be honest. But I have my suspicions. These Kinder’s Hot Honey Glaze wings are why you have to be careful when you poo-poo a wing sauce. Or any sauce. Or anything, for that matter. When I first tasted this sauce out of the bottle, my first thought was … It was ok. Then I made some air fryer wings and sauced them up. And got a taste and thought… They were ok.
Stay with me, because these are fantastic wings!
Well, ‘ok’ bugged me. I love everything I’ve ever had from Kinder’s. Was it me, I wondered? Had I missed something? Yes, is the answer to both of those questions. And lesson learned. Read on, my fellow wing lovers so you too don’t end up making an improper sauce poo-pooing!

Shake Your Booty
My first mistake was in not shaking the sauce bottle enough to begin with. This really is important. Especially with thicker sauces like this one. You have to do it to get the ingredients consistent. You want the flavors to be consistent on your Kinder’s Hot Honey Glaze wings!

I’m Not That Bright Sometimes
My second mistake was in what I used to season my wings before I put them into my air fryer. I often preach that you shouldn’t use seasonings that ‘fight’ the sauce you plan on using. And I sure did. So the sauce didn’t taste like the fine folks at Kinder’s dreamed they should.
Crazy Good!
So the verdict? These Kinder’s Hot Honey Glaze wings are fantastic! When you do things right you’ll end up with slightly-sweet, slightly-spicy wings that have a wonderful flavor that is big time addictive. It’s easy. Just don’t be a dodo like me!
What Are You Waiting For?
Go make some wings! It’s not that hard to do! My go-to method is to air-fry them. A little seasoning first. Air-fried to perfection. Fantastic aroma as they cook. Crispy skin. Juicy meat. Tender. Ready for a sauce. Air-fried wings can hold up to being tossed with sauce, so that’s what I do. If they were deep-fried with a batter I wouldn’t abuse them like that. I’d gently brush the sauce on. Or serve it on the side, for dipping.

My Trusty Wingman
My air fryer isn’t fancy. It doesn’t have any bells and whistles. Well, ok, it does have a bell when the timer goes off but that’s it. I don’t even use the timer actually. I use a timer on my phone that has two countdowns: one for 12 minutes and one for 6 minutes. That’s all I ever need to get perfect wings each and every time!
