It was a good day. A very good day. That’s because these Da Kine Hawaiian smoky dry rub seasoning wings really, really hit the spot. I was already a big fan (addict, perhaps) of dry wings. I love that super-crunchy skin. And I love tons of seasoning. This seasoning is a little smoky. Just-right smoky, actually. Perfect on wings. Oh yeah, you can put it on other things, and I do. Like smoked ribs or pork shoulder. Burgers. Those things. But for me, this seasoning was really meant for dry wings!

Season Before. Season After.
I’ve learned that the key to success for dry wings is two-fold. One, cook those wings with high heat to get maximum crunchy skin. I use an air-fryer to do that, usually. Or a charcoal grill with the Vortex. And sometimes a deep fryer. No matter which you use, aim for crunchy skin. And season the wings well before you cook them. Then, after they’re done and still hot, season them some more. Load up. Go for it. These Da Kine Hawaiian smoky dry rub seasoning wings are not meant to be shy on flavor.
If you’re really wanting to up it, season them even again once you plate them. Pro tip: You can drag the wings through any seasoning that falls onto your plate for extra yumminess.
This seasoning is delicious on wings. Get some just for that and you’ll be more than happy!

Da Kine Hawaiian Smoky Dry Rub Seasoning Wings
Equipment
Ingredients

Instructions
- Lightly spray the basket of your air fryer with non-stick spray. Preheat per manufacturer’s recommendation.

- Add the wings to the basket (be careful it’s hot!). If you have trouble fitting them without overlapping, stand the drumettes along the sides of the basket.
- Cook at 360 F for 12 minutes for large wings, 10 minutes for smaller ones.
- Carefully flip the wings (rotate the drumettes if they are standing) and cook another 12 minutes again (10 minutes for smaller wings) at 375 F.
- Flip the wings one last time. Increase the temperature to 390 F and cook another 6 minutes (4 minutes for smaller wings).
- Remove wings to a bowl and sprinkle with more of the seasoning. Toss to coat.
- Serve.
