There are few things that make me happier than a big ole basket of wings. I consider wings to be the perfect lunch. The other day I cooked up a batch of wings and tossed them with a bit of homemade copycat Winger’s wings sauce. Perhaps one of the easiest wing sauces in existence, it packs a little heat and a little sweat. Fabulously addicting!
A Great Sauce With The Right Balance
I wouldn’t mess around with the recipe for copycat Winger’s wings sauce. It’s meant to be straightforward. Nothing fru-fru. Just the perfect balance and consistency. No lakes of wing sauce at the bottom of the basket here!
You can adjust the sweetness to taste. I thought it was great as it is written below. Sometimes I like a little more sweetness to my wing sauce. Sometimes I want a little more heat.
I store my leftover homemade sauces in squeeze bottles. If refrigerated, I set them out an hour before using so they come to room temperature. You don’t want to put cold sauce on hot wings! Also try some Cravin’ Cajun wings! They’re fantastic!
