I really like Cholula for the flavor and the amount of heat. It’s spicy, but not too spicy.

For the wings
3-4

chicken wings
flats and drumettes separated, tips saved to
make stock
For the marinade

apple cider vinegar

tablespoon
vegetable oil

Worcestershire sauce

tablespoon
chili powder

tablespoon
dried red pepper flakes
or more

kosher salt

teaspoon
freshly ground black pepper

Cholula hot sauce
For the sauce
1
cup
honey
½
stick
unsalted butter
½
cup
Cholula hot sauce
Instructions
For the marinade
Whisk all ingredients together.
For the wings
Place wings in a resealable container. Add the marinade and seal. Toss to coat.
Marinate the wings for at least an hour.
Shake off any excess marinade.
Cook wings as desired.

Remove wings to a large bowl.
Drizzle the wings with half of the sauce and toss to coat.

Serve with remaining sauce for dipping.
For the sauce
Place honey in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add in butter and hot sauce. Heat until the butter is melted.
Keep warm until ready to use.
Notes
Serve your wings with extra sauce on the side for dipping!
