Private Selection Peach Carolina Reaper Wings

Here we are again. Another great wing sauce. This is not the first time I’ve been highly impressed with a wing sauce from Private Selection. I found it at Kroger. Each and every bottle has been packed with excitingly new flavors. Like this Peach Carolina Reaper wing sauce. Oh it’s spicy. If you’re not familiar with the Carolina Reaper, it’s one of the hottest peppers in the world. I admit it, I was a bit apprehensive taking my first taste of this sauce. Oh, it’s hot, but it’s not just spicy. It’s wonderfully sweet, with a hint of peaches. I really like this sauce. Despite it being on the hot side!

Private Selection Peach Carolina Reaper Wings

I’ve found myself using Private Selection Peach Carolina Reaper wing sauce on more than just wings. I love it drizzled on fried chicken. And it makes for a crazy good crazy spicy dipping sauce for chicken nuggets too. And what goes better with pork than peaches? Yep, brush it on grilled pork chops or pork loin too!

Private Selection Smoked Serrano Wings

This is not the first time I’ve been highly impressed with a wing sauce from Private Selection. I got this sauce at Kroger and each and every bottle has been packed with excitingly new flavors. Like this Private Selection Smoked Serrano wings sauce. Oh it’s spicy, but it’s not so hot that you don’t get the flavors of the three delicious peppers that make up the sauce: jalapeno, serrano and chipotles. The smokiness adds a nice twist. This Mexican-inspired wing sauce is absolutely fantastic, and a little different than the usual Buffalo-inspired sauces.

Private Selection Smoked Serrano Wings

The Private Selection Smoked Serrano wings sauce bottle does say ‘hot’ on it. Sometimes that worries me. Will it be so hot that I can’t actually taste the sauce? Or will it disappoint me and be sadly mild and as spicy as a banana? This sauce is spot-on where it should be on the spicy scale. So, my worries were unfounded.

Private Selection Chili Wings

I love the Private Selection (Kroger’s premium brand) line of wing sauces. Each one has been fantastic, and believe me I’ve tried them all. The Private Selection Chili wings sauce is no exception. It’s a wonderful combination of garlic and very mild chile peppers. It packs a very, very light punch and brings a good bit of sweetness. Not too spicy and not too sweet.

Private Selection Chili Wings

Private Selection Chili wings sauce isn’t just a great sauce for wings, either. It’s great for dipping shrimp and chicken nuggets too! But it is absolutely finger-licking fantastic on a batch of hot-out-of-whatever-you-cooked-them-in wings. I admit it, I’m pretty heavy handed with it when I pour it onto my wings.

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

I recommend that you don’t be shy with this sauce on your wings. Usually I go kinda light, but I love this stuff so much I went big and didn’t stop.

Private Selection Gochujang Honey Garlic Wings

Yowsa, this right here is a fantastic bottled wing sauce! On a whim I picked up a bottle each of the Private Selection wing sauces during a trip to Kroger. The first one I tried was the Gochujang Honey Garlic wings sauce. I was so seriously blown away I could not wait until I made my next batch of wings and tossed them in more sauce. Private Selection Gochujang Honey Garlic wings are a winner!

Garlicky, spicy, sweet and with a slighty fermented chile paste flavor, wings (or for that matter, anything) covered in this sauce will be absolutely delicious.

Private Selection Gochujang Honey Garlic Wings

This sauce has me excited, looking forward to the remaining sauces in my Private Selection collection. The price was right (around $3 a bottle) and the taste? Amazing. You cannot lose with Private Selection Gochujang wings sauce.

Private Selection Hatch Green Chile Crema Wings

You need to stop reading this post right now and run out to Kroger and grab some Private Selection Hatch Green Chile Crema Wings Sauce. This is definitely one of the best bottled sauces you can find. It has the perfect yogurty creaminess. The perfect hint of Hatch chiles, a fantastic-flavored pepper that has just a hint of spiciness. Finished with a bit of lime and cilantro, I absolutely loved this sauce on wings. And I can see this sauce finding it’s way into other dishes. Like a southwestern macaroni-and-cheese for sure!

Private Selection Hatch Green Chile Crema Wings

You don’t need anything else when you serve up a batch of Private Selection Hatch Green Chile Crema Wings sauce. No Ranch dressing. No blue cheese. Nothing. The sauce on the wings is perfect by itself and the last thing you want to do is dilute it with other flavors. Let it shine!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

Private Selection Hot Mandarin Wings

I am completely sold on the Private Selection (Kroger’s premium brand) line of wing sauces. Whomever came up with the flavors deserves a raise in my book. Each one has been fantastic, and believe me I’ve tried them all. The Private Selection Hot Mandarin wings sauce is no exception. It’s a wonderful combination of scotch bonnet peppers, garlic and mandarin oranges. Also, it packs a little punch and brings a little sweet. It’s very, very tasty and makes for cool looking wings!

Private Selection Hot Mandarin Wings

If you’re worried about the scotch bonnet peppers being too hot, don’t be. Granted, I do like a bit of heat, and Private Selection Hot Mandarin wings sauce brings it, but it’s not overwhelming.

Private Selection Hawaiian Pineapple Wings

I am a big fan of the Private Selection (Kroger’s premium brand) line of wing sauces. I’ve tried them all and I love them all! The Private Selection Hawaiian Pineapple wings sauce is no exception. It’s a wonderful combination of pineapple, coconut and just a hint of heat. It’s as if you were chowing down on wings in the tropics! I like this sauce not only because it tastes so good but also because it’s different. It’s not like what I usually find on chicken wings.
