Legend Larry’s Mild Buffalo Wings

Last time I didn’t like a sauce from Legend Larry’s was never. That’s because the fine folks there don’t mess around no matter what flavor we’re talking about. Like these Legend Larry’s mild Buffalo wings. They are packed with flavor. No boring wings here. Classic flavors amped up a bit. Deliciously good, and with a little kick to boot. This is a great sauce that makes for great wings.

Legend Larry's Mild Buffalo Wings

Legend Larry’s mild Buffalo wings do have a bit of a kick to them. Oh, don’t get me wrong. It’s not a crazy hot sauce by any stretch but you will get that cayenne kick. If you’re serving this at a get-together you might wanna just let folks know it’s mild. Not medium. And definitely not scary hot.

If I am serving my wings with Ranch or blue cheese or some other sauce, I use these little sauce dipping cups. They’re the perfect size for dipping wings, nuggets, tenders and even vegetables. And they’re easy to clean, too!

Blonde Beard’s Holy Hell Wings

I was afraid when I sauced up some hot-out-of-the-deep-fryer wings with Blonde Beard’s Holy Hell Wings sauce. Cayenne and scotch bonnet peppers ain’t something to sneeze at. You gotta be careful. Now, I got the heat, oh yes, but the flavor! Oh my! This is one of the tastiest (and pretty dang hot) wing sauces I’ve ever had. Buttery, peppery, it’s just one killer sauce. I highly recommend this sauce to any Buffalo wing sauce lover.

Blonde Beard's Holy Hell Wings

So this is the part of my posts where I usually add some brilliant comments about the sauce. Like ‘Blonde Beard’s Holy Hell Wings sauce is also great on grilled chicken’. Something like that. And you know, I bet it is great on grilled chicken, but I’m keeping this sauce all for myself and my wings.

Try every flavor from Blonde Beard’s. Get a bottle of each. But get two bottles of the Holy Hell sauce!

Remember that if you have to refrigerate your open bottle of wing sauce to let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using. You don’t want to ‘shock’ hot, just-cooked wings with a cold sauce.

SouthHouse Buffalo Wings

SouthHouse is a restaurant/pub in the south part of Philadelphia. I’ve never been there, but that didn’t stop me from ordering a few bottles of their wing sauces. I had to. They looked fantastic, like they’re made with real ingredients, with care. And they are. The Buffalo wing sauce looks amazing just sitting in the bottle. Little yummy things floating around, destined for greatness on a big ole batch of homemade wings.

SouthHouse Buffalo Wings

SouthHouse’s Buffalo wing sauce isn’t too spicy, I’d say it’s just right. A nice little kick, but nothing crazy spicy. It isn’t too thin or thick, it’s what I’d call a ‘normal’ consistency, perfect for wings. And critical for me, it’s not too vinegary. I thought it was a great all-around Buffalo wing sauce, worthy of the name and a great nod to the classic.
